I use the mod "cape for armors" and i had a problem with the armor used by riften guards, the solution I found was, go to the folder where you installed the mod (data / meshes / armor) and delete the folder " iron ", doing this the iron armor dont wear capes , but it will not create conflicts with the armor of Riften guards,
Sorry my english,im new speaking your language. Greetings from Argentina!!
Wonderful to see this, ""Every city have various guard outfits TS Edition"" is buggy after the Civil War wraps up, so this is a definite improvement in that regard.
I'm sorry, but any standalone versions would have to include quite a few unmodified vanilla and HR DLC assets, which I am fairly sure would get me in trouble around here at the very least.
@joshezzell This mod doesn't edit leveled lists, so I doubt Bash could do anything about that. I don't really know though; that tool is so powerful I'm always surprised by it.
@Borborygmus The only thing I can think of that could cause that, especially on a new game and across saves, would be a load order conflict. First thing I would do is to try moving this mod to a higher priority. If you're using the Cloaks in Skyrim compatible version, my mod MUST load after that one. Also, the CiS compatible version is only compatible with the normal version of CiS, not the variants like the No Imperial or Player Only versions.
If that doesn't work, try using the console commands "resetinventory" or "resurrect" on a guard to see if that fixes the problem. If that works, then you will need to go to an interior cell that has no guards or guard armor and wait until the world respawns (up to 30 days).
this is aa really great mod and im enjoying it, but im having a strange problem. suddenly, all guards are naked. they just have shields and weapons. i have not dled any mods since i got this one, and it worked just fine, until last night it randomly stopped working on all saves, and even in a new game same thing.
i checked all the meshes and textures, and everything seems intact. here is a the weirdest part. i tried unistalling the mod, and they all stay naked.its only guards that has happened to, and im super confused and frustrated, since this mod added so much more immersion, and now it has so much less! have you seen this before we anyone?

I had the naked-issue too, thanks for telling how to fix it, though I would prefer a way which doesn't takes up so much "time".
However, keep up the good work!
