@pado i know, in fact i think theres a few. they are what inspired me to make my own. they didnt quite have what i was looking for. so i made this one. theres also not alot of mods mainly for the targe that do more than just increase bash bleed damage. where as mine also has a custom enchantment that reflects damage when blocking, and when attacked. im not trying to steal their spotlight or nuthin. partially the reason why i didnt try to do all the shields...
@geo: i might be able to get the spellbreaker enchant, and my reflect damage spike enchant on the same shield. but the only way ive found to get the bleeding effect from bashing on other shields is to change the vanilla targe to look like the other shield (by changing the meshes which turns the targe into the other shield). the bleeding isnt an enchant, but a spell that adds a perk for that shield. ive tried to get that effect on other shields without changing the targe itself, but so far it hasnt been working for me. when i get a chance ill take a look and see if i can make it compatible without using any of the other mods files. shouldnt be too difficult, but i cant promise anything...
What I was hopping was the possibility of having the "Targe of the Blooded " spike effect and the "Spellbreaker" effect on ANY shield(both of them in the same time) by enchanting or an alternative method like the mod I listed before .Can you do this please? I am sorry I did not explain myself better ... English is my second language
i could try to add a version with that enchant instead. i personally dont use it tho because i find it useless. between the delay for activating the ward, and the stagger when it breaks it annoys me. id radther just have magic resistance... to each his own though. ill admit spellbreaker on a targe would be interesting...lol
To be frankly when I seen your mod I was hopping it is a mod like this: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/18083 (The Secret of the Spellbreaker - Ward Effect for Shields) and compatible with that one ...
sorry about the texture misshap. i had two one that i was messing with and the one i used. i uploaded the wrong folder is all. ill fix that right away... and for the other thing, i know how to change the color, and do other basic things(or basic to me at least). but i dont know how to do much with textures and meshes. i can adjust pre-existing stuff from the vanilla game. but havent learned how to make new ones yet...
Just downloaded this I like it and will endorse when the time is up. I like the the damage at 30..I use a mod that makes it 50, but 30 is closer to what I was looking for. Textures are good I'd like to see a HD of the original, but not clean...used looking but in HD.
BTW the spikedshield texture folder needs to go in the texture-weapons folder not just the textures folder...you might what to fix that before you get a bunch of comments of the textures not working
