Thank you for these settings! The colors are enhanced, there is NO BLUE TINT at night and in snowy areas and it actually gives FPS boost. Best FXAA settings out here on Nexus!
This actually gave me a decent FPS boost. I can't tell you exactly how much, but with playing on a computer that is below the system requirements, this mod help me build a working game....
The main reason, I believe, is how this FXAA injector settings mod handles light, bloom, and shadows.. Which happen to be what my rig handles the worst.
Thank you, I have endorsed!!
Edit: Combined with my other tweaks this has gone beyond playable. I now have double draw distance and my game is working and looking better then rigs with 1GB video cards... mine is 256MG.... Skyrim is so awesome to allow us to tweak the game...
I´m using this mod version 103 without post- sharpening (my computer is too weak) and I must say, that this is the best solution around imho. Of course it´s, like always, a matter of taste, but I use it permanently, adore ur work and endorsed it. Nice job mate
After trying many different "custom setting" mods on skyrimnexus, I have settled on this one for 3 reasons.
1. Some other mods boast "dark nights" and "bright days" - and they deliver! The shadows are truly deep and dark, giving a full sense of immersion and realism. They come under scrutiny (IMO) when roaming through dark dungeons where I find myself casting magelight, or getting a torch to ensure I haven't missed any loot (or even worse a lever which access' the next area). I found this mod to offer the best between Vanilla shadows (able to see everything, ALL THE TIME) and the purist realism/immersion (able to see nothing unless around a fire) of other custom settings.
2. The sharpness is perfect by default, which WILL vary between rig setup (46" Samsung LED, I find it too sharp with other mods).
3. The color saturation is just right, the skin tones are warm, and the environment is lush without being overpowering after hours of outdoor exploration
I also don't notice as much of a blue/purple tint when switching on/off in-game, compared to the darker custom setting mods
Long story short, this is probably what I will settle on, unless CK offers something amazing. Please keep improving, based on this I totally trust your judgment on what looks "natural" and will be watching any mods closely...Cheers!
Thx for all the endorsements guys really appreciate it. Even thou im saying it myself my settings are still the most satisfying I've seen after trying dozens of new fxaa injectors and shader mods and whatnot lately
Mine's running fine. I've also used the 4GB memory tweak because the game runs smoother with MODs on with it since the 1.3 patch.
As for the FXAA... Its so beautiful! All the other FXAA MODs tried so hard to make it look different that it just looked rubbish. This is perfect for me! Not too bright/sharp but spot on!
