ANNOUNCEMENT: If you like Random Alternate Start, check out my newest mod: Scarcity. If you use weapons/armor/creature mods you will need Scarcity because the more weapons/armor/creature mods you use the more unbalanced Skyrim's economy becomes. Scarcity fixes Skyrim’s broken economy and makes finding rare items rewarding again; it reduces ALL types of loot, even mod-added loot, so that there are less weapons and armor lying around, potions and gems are scarcer, and finding enchanted items is a genuine treasure--as it should be.
Hi Cego, yes I give you permission to port it to xbox/playstation. My only condition is that you please credit me with a link back to the original mod page. Thank you!
Thank you so much, all credits is given with the link to here and your profile as well, here it is the PlayStation and Brazilian PlayStation Translated ones and the Brazilian Xbox Translated one if you wanna take a look xD
Just wanted to say that it's a great mod which does what it promises BUT it had an unfortunate conflict with Sounds of Skyrim. Meaning that any save using Random Alternate Start can't use the Config for Sounds of Skyrim (used via console commands). Every previous save which is not using RAS, had no such issues and could bring up SoS config files without issues. However, if you don't care to config SoS files and would like to enable them all as a default then it might not be an issue. For it seemed like they were enabled as a default.
I really like this mod because it is simple and objective. Even if I prefer this one over Another Life and Unbound, the load problem (and CTD if confirm YES) when removing a mod is still a strange problem that was left unresolved.
It's a small issue and you should never continue a game without mods, but it's still a strange thing.
I've got two characters I set up using it. My fighter/archer had no major problem from the start. Level 1 but I could keep away from the characters trying to kill her while she used her bow.
My poor level 1 mage however, has died almost immediately in my last 3 tries at starting it. I like the mage so I'll keep trying other mage options and see what happens.
@Killirilly874, My advice to you is to learn how to install mods manually, Vortex (as far as I know) is a general installer for many different games and as such all too often gets it wrong. If you install mods manually (it's really simple as most modders folder things up the way it should be*) you know where they are and what they're doing.
* Extract somewhere (a folder on your desktop named BoB if you want) check it out, see what there is then copy/drop into your data, some more complex mods need more attention. Remember, there's always help for those that ask genuine questions politely
So a certain menu in the Class selection is EXTREMELY buggy... have included a link to a gif I made with shitty last minute recording freeware but hopefully it gets the point across.
You cannot exit this menu. It makes it impossible to actually play the game. Esc key does nothing. Class menu bug
Edit: I have only Random Alternate Start, and Character Creation Overhaul. Nothing else.

Can I have permissions to port it for xbox and playstation community?
Or has any dialogue been swapped so that they don't call you the Dragonborn.
However, Go to SSE pages and search for Random Alternate Start Reborn, that's a port.

Sorry I'm a bit late here (hopefully you are tracking this mod)
It goes like this...
Don't use the Traits part of the mod... it's not working
It's a known issue! so make your character as normal then DON'T choose traits... just finish
