My sincerest apologies for my absence over the past few years. I felt I had updated my mods to a satisfactory degree and simply lost interest over time, being preoccupied with my studies and work. Skyrim SE's release completely flew under my radar. Now, with renewed interest and vigour, I'll start porting over my older mods as soon as the primary debugging phase for my latest release, Away, Come Away, is dealt with.
Beyond simple nif optimization and preparing the plugins for 64-bit Skyrim, I additionally hope to update all mods to a more modern standard. For instance, I've had a completely redone version of Einherjar Armor laying around on my hard drive for ages and never got around to posting it. I should gradually be updating and porting my older works over the course of this month.
This armor looks amazing! This companion works so great and he allows me to have other custom voiced followers from mods along with him! (I am not using UFO or AFT or EFF or any other sort of follower overhaul) Vijla works, all the followers from Interesting NPC's work with him as well as a few others. Excellent work!
You should release a version where elves can have him follow you, that way we can remove his banner and hood, you not allowing him to follow elves does not stop him from following people who are playing elves at all, its easy to get around and just pointless really, it is your mod though so
Kill those Imperials at the camp before talking to him.
Hopefully this unfortunate bug will be rectified in the next update, assuming there is one. Valfar should have nothing to do with elves aside from cleaving their skulls in twain.
i doubt it will happen. To be fair the lore for this character makes sense. If I were Valfar I'd feel the same way.. but it makes no sense to force your armor on the guy though..like wud..some people might not be immersed into the design or immersing themselves in the lore but just want a powerful cool voiced character with beard haha.
That link doesn't go to anything useful just a page that says "There's nothing here. Whatever you were looking for doesn't currently exist at this address. Unless you were looking for this error page, in which case: Congrats! You totally found it." But I really hope this comes to SE.
Found the SSE port of this awesome guy :D https://www.tumblr.com/trip-the-rift/187797303857/companion-valfar-se-i-specialize-in-porting-to

Wasnt that hard to find if you search Companion Valfar Skyrim Se on google xD Anyway, hope yall enjoy it as i see a lot of people asked about the port ^^ Have fun! :D
is it possible to turn of his shouting powers? he is too powerful in my opinion.
Besides that, amazing mod.
I stumbled into the aesir dungeon with my low HP huntress @ level 17 solo... It was soo hard but really immersive! Had to try most encounters several times and in most cases i was 1-hitted by most enemies... so, a lot of tactic required. But that was awesome.
