I use uGrid 9 with this mod cleaned the result: gives me the impression that it is better to 2 together one helps the other for ground better detailled.
I've had this mod installed for a while now...two maybe three years? In all that time I never built a Hearthfire house but...I tried to build Heljarchen Hall just north of Whiterun in The Pale and the house did not appear at any step in the build process. I didn't save, exited Skyrim and researched the issue coming to the conclusion it was either Rhino's of Skyrim or Distant Detail Hearthfire Edition causing the issue.I disabled Distant Detail Hearthfire Edition, the only version of the mod I've ever had installed, and the house built properly this time.I'd like to run this mod but it seems it still may have issues with Hearthfire.
Same. I also only installed this version of the mod and the house won't show up. And I can't revert back to a save before I started building so only the additions to the house show, not the main hall or the entryway. I don't recommend using this...
@Djvalor I agree. It also causes islands to float in the air that shouldn't be there by making them persistent. A perfect example of this is seen when you walk out of vlindrell hall in Markarth. You can actually TCL and go to the objects which are suspended in mid air. This would be fine if everything else was rendered but that is not the case making the background look horrible.
Well, I tired this mod, and the moment I started and got in game, I got MASSIVE lag. I'm running a decent computer and not a ton of mods, and my graphics are set as low as they can go, but when I uninstalled this mod, I had no lag anymore. (keep in mind, it could also be an issue on my end as well, just thought I'd leave my two cents anyway)
Seems like a good concept, but it seems you'd need a pretty good rig to even consider this. And even so, what I did see, wasn't all that different really. I guess I can live with out seeing distant bridges after all 8/
I was using this mod and Distant Detail HF from the same author for quite a while without any kind of problems since its high in my LO so it gets overriden by anything that could be incompatible. The day before yesterday i ran into problems concerning the construction of "Windstad Manor" in Hjaalmarch (for everyone who doesnt know it can be bought in Morthal and built West of Dawnstar North of Morthal. Upon Purchase of the piece of land the house is built on you get a quest to go check out your piece of land, at the indicated place you find a drafting table, anvil, chest (with some starting supplies) and a workbench for construction purposes only, with both these mods installed the quest tells you to use the drafting table to start constructing your house but the quest doesnt advance upon choosing the first available blueprint and constructing the house pieces (like floor, walls and such) the house DOES NOT appear in the World. Upon removing both mods (this one and http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25300/ ) the quest advances and the house appears in the world and is useable. I deactivated this mod constructed the house and reactivated it, i then ran into problems during the Civil War quests and have now every 3 loading screens (for now only cell transitions) an ILS... I will clean the mods and try again to build it while transfering the nevessary edits of the houses into the esps, i'll report back once i've done this Edit: Cleaning it and transfering 3 or 4 entries (worldspace entries, dont know if the cleaning was the solver or the entries, maybe both) it worked
Can anyone help me out: I have Skyrim + DB + DG + HF. Do I need to activate both .esps from "Skyrim Distant Detail" and " Distant Detail Hearthfire Edition" OR do I need only activate the .esp from Hearthfire Edition ?
