The main file is mislabeled but it IS the right mod when you download it.

I also confirmed that this is true. Sadly this might be the reason why the mod doesn't have more endorsements.

Why are none of the available files earmarked as v2.31, or where do you find the actual "Latest Version? The newest file - "NME - NPCs Made Essential" indicates it's v1.1... Thanks.

I heard its a trigger they use to keep the mod update warning in your manager and you keep clicking on it to update so it counts as a view on their mod.

For those new to this mod, the author Harvey2112 retired from Skyrim modding a year ago but was nice enough to come back and clean up some minor issues for the last update. Anyhow don't hold your breath awaiting an answer from him.
Please take note: the majority of problems you will run across are caused by other mods changing interior or exterior environments. In the cause of the hearthfire mod, ANY changes to the hearthfire player homes are likely to create problems with this mod, so choose your needs wisely.

I have been using this mod for a long time now and can attest if you are having a problem, you need to look to load order or other mods for the cause.
Also, because of scripting limitations, this mod will bog down severely if you leave unclassified junk in the GS sorter beyond 20 pieces or so(especially with SKYUI mod). Remember to clear it out and use the cistern to manually assign it to a storage item type.
Also, each HF house has different placement and availability of HF specific storage (IE: outdoor building materials chest).

Ummm, activated mod, travelled to Windstad manor, went in and only had the micro chests on the house-crafting tables and the general sorter? Does this mod have any conflicts with other mods? I use a mod that adds a pool outside and a mod that adds a new cell under the house (a proper library)

    *EDIT*

Checked load order, there is also a lamp post mod for the outside and an attic cell adding mod

    Hello Mr. Harvey2112,

Just an FYI, the files for Hearthfire Automated Storage seem to be missing from the NExus "error, does not exist".

I'll try again in a few hours, thought I would give you a head's up.

    [Edit]

    Seems to be fixed now.

I have a question about the "Optional Patches" that you talk about. Should I install Hearthfire and the Dawnguard GS mods or should I just activate the GeneralStores(CCS-DG-HF).esp file instead or do I activate both the mods and the patches? There are no real details on the Description page and I do not want to install these incorrectly and potentially lose my stuff or break the game.

Thank you for all of the amazing work you have done on this mod and any help you can provide.

    E.

Hi Harvey. I love your mods, but I am having an issue with this one playing nice with More plants and recipes: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/26851
More plants places the initial plants into the construction chest, but with your newest version installed those items are not showing up. An earlier version (I'm not sure which) worked perfect with this mod. Again, I don't know which version I was using before since I just did a complete re-install, but it had the cistern outside the front door. This is also gone. Any ideas what is going on? I can get the plant items with 2.21 installed, but I would like to keep up with your most current version. Thanks again for an awesome set of mods.

    Please disregard. Operator error

First of, being so vocal about general storage that nothing can get lost, I think you should mark a bit more clearly in this mods description that it actually REPLACES vanilla chests and incidentally, stuff stashed in them. Also, it doesn't seem to uninstall properly. I tried to remove the files that came with the mod, as well as look my scripts folder for the mentioned scripts (found none). The chest outside my manor acts as nothing had happened, but the chest inside still works as an activator for general storage. Even if hearthfirestores(gs).esp is not activated or even around. I'm trying to (in vain?) find a way to return it to normal, especially as I fear that if I go as far as remove general stores alltogether it'll actually crash.
