I think more house mods should be like this. A house that has an owner with options to pass ownership of the house to the player - either through deeds or death. Otherwise we will ends up with a lot of lovely, but vacant, houses in the land of Skyrim, which is what is happening to most people who download lots of house mods.

I love the look of the house. Also the NPC was a nice touch. Endorsed.

Nice little home. I liked it. My only little complain is entrance door could be higher resolution

I've uploaded an optional player owned version that allows the player to have full ownership of the cottage from the start, and it removes the merchant NPC. This version is largely untested, though it shouldn't cause any problems.

Sammy: No DLC are needed for this mod. An up-to-date game is required though. If your game is up-to-date, then do you have a secluded cottage bsa and esp file in your Skyrim's Data folder? Is anything else pink?
