Vanilla animations were practical and based on real longsword and duel wielding movements and stances from German and other European cultures. All these 'fixes' make them less practical and realistic, usually trading of realism for Anime. Or in this case just... Awkwardness. Not trying to be insulting, but please instead of 'fixing' things right away, do some research, read some sword manuals or at least YouTube some proper longsword and shortsword fighting styles.
hey DreamFlower ,There is one issue with you're theory, "dual wielding" has never been a true battlefield tactic, it was used almost entirely as a tournament showcase, or in europe, strictly for dueling, in which the swords used were very lightweight rapiers or daggers, not heavy iron scimitars, or maces. so the technique is not as viable as it may seem. your arms would get incredibly tired holding a mace as high as in the vanilla animations for more than 30 seconds.
I think you are full of shit. Where else would people state ANY opinions about a mod? And I don't believe there is any rule saying only positive ones are allowed.

The only issue I personally have with the DW animations is that weapons in the left hand are reversed ( So the sharp edge is pointing toward you ) during a turn.
This mod made it so that the sharp edge was ALWAYS pointing at my character. Please fix. Using anything other than a 100% symmetrical sword in the left hand is a no go as the mod currently sits.
I've never had any issues using this mod and if there are, I simply haven't noticed them. I've been using this for a long time and I consider this animation replacer essential. The vanilla running and standing animations are so laughably stupid and over the top that I found myself avoiding having to run while using two weapons. Thank you very much for this.
I like this mod, strictly from the viewpoint of my character not having seizures every time I want to turn slightly to the left or right.
That said, I unfortunately found a bug (of sorts): when switching to sprint speed, the right hand weapon gets inverted. When using basic weapons (like the sword or dagger), this isn't that noticeable. However, it is very noticeable when using base axes, as the blade side is turned upward while sprinting and instantly spins downward upon stopping.
My seizures of spinning are now replaced with seizures in my hand. [ENTER COY ENUENDO ABOUT SEIZURING HANDS HERE]
Update (3/13): Know that while this fixes the jolting / jittering / jostling / jingleheimerschmiting while standing, it does not help while sneaking..

In fact something similar also happens to 2H weapons but the dual wield animation is the least tolerable. So thank you for the fix.
