I seem to recall a year or two years ago using this mod for Skyrim Original. Seem it only works for Special Edition nowadays, any chance for a second file for people like me who still loves the classic Skyrim to be able to use this?

OMG.. it have this mod for the LE version
Thank the God! Helmet toggle was the best one years ago, but now is just buggy! plus won't work anymore.
This one is the best out there for SE and LE, even with fur hood's not working atm

Much better than that buggy "Helmet toggle" mod, only downside is that all npcs has no visible helmet now, which isn't so bad.

This works great for vanilla helmets. Endorsed.

A super simple way for anyone out there who wants to hide custom armor head gear is to remove the mesh block using nifscope.

That may be simple. I took a look at how this mod works though. For starters it's really small file, just .esp's for vanilla and DLC's. I was expecting indeed that it would replace vanilla models but no. The mod adds a new circlet "armor" with no models attached to it (so it's invisible). Then all the helmets in game are individually modified to use that circlet and show hair. I'd say it should work really well.

Not sure if it's been covered, but the Ebony Helmet enchantments stack. Also you can equip another piece of headgear under the Ebony Helmet. This means that you could have an insanely powerful alchemist, mage or archer once you can craft Ebony gear.

Your two helms need to be either differing in armor rating, or the name. You can add up six enchants this way on your head alone, and if you equip one helm first then repeatedly equip the other, the enchantments will stack even though the equipped indicator does not show up. Obviously, I took quite some time to stumble upon this.

And you can cross the armor cap wearing only invisible Ebony helms. I have 1600% armor improvement potions, with ~450% enchantment boosters, and ~3000 armor points from the helmets alone. Makes almost everything one-shot kills.

    Lovely little glitch!

Anyone happen to know if this mod hides the aetherium crown? I have this mod installed but the crown is still showing up.

I love your mod, much better than HelmetToggle because it works for NPCs as well, and it's a lot less laggy. HOWEVER, I wish there were an in-game menu with SkyUI, or at least a toggle button (sometimes I wanna see my helmet!)

Wouldn't it be pretty simple to add compatibility with SkyUI? That would help us soo much.
