    ... negating any lighting mods like Realistic lighting or Darker Dungeson for ENB

    Well, that's the point of Night Eye - you see better in the dark. And I don't think adding drunken vision effect helps make it "balanced", at all.

    @eisberg-
    i was reading the 3drage forums and you were tolking about a mod that changes a NPCs ability to detect you in the shadows... im interested, is this a public mod or some kind of console command setting?

    @Kirro
    That is where I got the inspiration for this mod. Would love to see some of those mods ported over to Skyrim

    There were some really good nighteye replacements for Oblivion that made nighteye more balanced. Shame they don't seem to have been ported over.

    Your version kind of reminds me of that old movie, The Beastmaster, when he is looking through the eyes of one of his animals. It does seem reasonable though, so good work.

    Uploaded an image before night eye is on

    @ mrsake
    I have only seen in vanilla lighting of Skyrim, where there is zero reason to use a torch or night eye, everything is to bright. Night eye and torches are completely useless in Vanilla skyrim. Night eye and Torches don't be come useful till one actually mod the lighting of the game to make it more realistic, meaning darker. I posted a pic of what my game looks like in the dark, and as you can tell, the night eye actually does a whole lot in showing the dark areas that non eye could not see. If you take a look at the pic of Vanilla night eye, it really doesn't have a disadvantage, the blurred area is small and unobtrusive, doesn't entice one not to keep night on all of the time.

    A spell that does nothing besides add screen blur and a worthless blue overlay is over powered? Who knew?Seriously, maybe it's just my settings, but vanilla night eye actually just makes it *harder* to see in the dark for me already. It's not like it's Morrowind/Oblivion night eye.

    Maybe you could add a normal, without night eye, pic to your list.
