    Welcome to

    MannyGT's Mods
    Supreme and Volumetric Fog

    - More realistic
    - Improved visual effects and performance
    - Totally compatible with RCRN and other environmental mods (Climates of Tamriel included)
    - Support for Climates of Tamriel v3.x!
    - Removed the Morning Fogs feature. If you want it, download my "Morning Fogs" standalone mod.
    - Fixed a tiny bug that sometimes you'll see foggy shaders when you enter houses and/or dungeons.

A tiny and useful guide to uninstall the previous version befoure installing v2.0

I strongly recommend to install SKSE first because it have an awesome feature to remove all the persistent and "orphan" scripts.
    The walktrough:

    1. Go inside a vanilla interior like Breezehome.
    2. Wait 15 seconds
    3. Make a new savegame
    4. Exit Skyrim
    5. Uninstall my mod
    6. Launch Skyrim
    7. Load the savegame you did at point #3
    8. Wait 5 seconds
    9. Use the SKSE command console:
    and press enter
(This command is not necessary if you have in you SKSE.ini the ClearInvalidRegistrations=1 parameter)
    10. Wait another 5 seconds
    11. Make a new savegame
    12. Exit Skyrim
    13. Install the new version of my mod
    14. Load the savegame you did at point #13
    15. Make another (and last) new savegame
    16. Play

I know I am really late to the game with this question.  First, loving the mod.  It's giving me the exact "Silent Hill" look I wanted with the Always Foggy mod that I use, but I was wondering if there is a way to get the nights to be darker with this one.

I've tried combining these two mods with a few different "Darker Night" mods, but this mod always seems to overwrite the nighttime darkness levels and makes the game almost as bright as day.  Is there any where to make this Supreme and Volumetric Fog not affect the nighttime light levels?

Thank you, I had already used it before and then I completely forgot to install it, thank you, the atmosphere is very good when the fog starts to set

    Is it compatible with Purity?

      Not exactly.

I have both mods and have looked at them with XEdit. This mod removes all of Purity's changes to fog weathers and sets them back to vanilla. It does not set new values in the areas it reverts to vanilla. This resulted in me seeing white mountain LODs because I don't use ENB.

You will need to create a patch to make this mod work with Purity to stop it reverting to vanilla. If you have an ENB, you may not notice.

    LOVE IT !
I pushed it to 5000 distance instead of 3500 because I wanted to see a little more clearly but the really close white clouds didn't get affected.
How could I possibly push them too or make them like almost transparent ?

these are from a visual effect called FXCameraAttachFogEffect [RFCT:000B94CD] I think its a vanilla effect because supreme and volumetric fog doesn't seem to add it

anyway you cant push them back because its a visual effect, you can turn them off if you want by opening this mod in tesedit and changing the visual effect back to null or you could figure out where the textures for the effect are stored and then edit them

edit: it is a vanilla effect, the model filename is called Effects\FXCameraAttachFog.nif

This mod can work in Enderal, if it's forced, but for a few seconds. I am looking for a fog mod that covers the whole game world in a perpetual fog that covers up the ugrid 5 popups. How about a version of SVF that does just that?
