What tree mods were used to create these LODs?

    I normally use:

    SFO - No grass
    Realistic Aspen Trees 4K

    TreesHD Ultra
Upgrade and Fix for TreesHD by Pfuscher
4K Tree and Parallax for Pines by Pfuscher

Would I slide this under SFO or where should it be located in left pane of MO?

    Thanks

I know your comment is pretty old, but I thought I'd answer anyway. It appears this was made for vanilla trees. SFO provides its own tree LOD, so you'll be wanting to use that as there are different meshes for some normal pines and also the snowy pines. This is also used with the default yellow aspens, so you will not see the color changes with Realistic Aspen Trees.

With SFO and Realistic Aspen Trees, you'll want to install SFO first, then Aspens, and pick the SFO option in the Aspen installer that will install an adjusted LOD for the SFO trees + colored aspens.

This is, I believe, the best tree LOD on here. Thanks so much for the "do it your damn self" version. I was able to recolor the aspens to go with Realistic Aspen Trees, resize it to my preferred size, and am loving the result.

maybe you fixed it by now, but just so you know:
when objects are blue/purple it is showing the pure mesh without the texture, so that means the texture is missing. It has nothing to do with this mod, as it only changes the trees in a distance. try reinstalling your tree mod (for example SFO).

Now Skyrim SE has arrived, I'd forgotten that I had used this mod but not directly.
It was used in Enhanced Landscapes with a slight modification; I can't extract that mod so I came to the source here.

Once you use this Vanilla Tree LOD replacement, there is just no going back.

Distant trees look 99% perfect in the distance with this mod with Skyrim SE's god-rays and the colour filter fade-out for the LOD distant tree from the mid-range.

And if you replace the leaves of the vanilla trees...

      TreesHD_Skyrim_Variation by namotep

      It's ridiculously good;
Never used TreesHD_Skyrim before. You get carried away easily with Enhanced Landscapes sometimes.

In snow screenshots, these tree LODs don't fuzz out like the Vanilla trees do in snowstorms.

    Hi everybody.
I get a randomly CTD crash everytime that I installed this mod (by Mod Manager), following the Predcaliber.com tutorial. I tested it a lot of time with a clean Skyrim installation with no other graphics/flora/trees mods. Sometimes it happends in the roads, or when I enter in a city or home.

I'm having a problem with this (and other LOD tree mods,) and although I've seen the problem mentioned, I've never seen any explanation for it, nor any cure offered.  When I use some LOD mods, my trees look cut in half- not chopped at the top, but lengthwise, as if they were paper trees folded in half. I do use Vurts, 179e, and his LODs look even worse for me, turning into big black blocks in the distance. I've tried both the 2046 and the 4092, and both give me the same problem. Any suggestions to fixing this would be very much appreciated- your LODs look lovely, and I'd love to be able to use them!

I have seen a similar issue being reported under another mods forum, and it was said that it was either a CK limitation or a game engine limitation that can't be fixed

I've had this problem numerous times as well.

I always have to go find the offending lod tree texture thing and change it.

I've had it happen with Vurt's and numerous other tree LOD textures.

Depends on which mod you use, but it's easy to fix if you figure which mod is causing it and then just use the specific meshes or lod from another mod that has working ones. I usually do that when i use SFO and other mods that conflict a bit when it comes to lods.

I'm having the same problem- I went through all my mods that touch trees, disabling them one by one, and found that this one was the one chopping my distant trees in half lengthwise. Some are just the right side, some are just the left side. Would love to see an update of this.

UPDATE: The tree clipping only appears with the 4k version. I don't see it with the 2k version.... although I also can't see if the mod is actually working or not now.

IF you utilize Mod Organizer simply click on the Billboard/LOD file information tab and click on Conflicts. This can help resolve conflicts. Also, if you use DynDoLOD try putting the ESP 3-4 spaces above the very bottom mod in your left pane in MO. Then put the output file last giving it priority/overwrite capability over all other LODs, which should be included in DynDoLOD when it runs. I had that and it was simply reconfiguring the Priority and the trees vanished. Also, certain Trees, and mountain textures need to be hidden, removed or turned off in MO. Use the STEP tree guide for help.

I had this problem. The way to fix this is to reinstall skyrim. Do not run TES5LODGen or DoDynLOD after reinstalling skyrim, for they are what causes this issue with normal LODs. Also, after reinstalling all of your mods, you can delete the file "LODGen" in your Skyrim/Data/Textures/Terrain.

EEK Reinstall Skyrim? No - all that is wrong is you have two different tree lod files fighting each other. You simply need to dig them out on your tree mods, and make sure only one mod succeeds in providing tree lod. If you use SFO and another tree mod, only allow one of these to provide tree Lod. That will cure the problem.

Is this compatible with Ultimate Lush overhaul?
