ANSWER TO WAY TOO FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION:

If you're having any issues with hunger going up and down wildly or rising way above 100% or broken transformation scene or anything similar you are experiencing a mod conflict or load order or savegame mess issue. If you don't already know the most basic thingy about skyrim modding ever let me explain:

If two mods modify the same record or script it is a conflict. In case of esp records the game only uses the version of the record from the mod it loads last (lower in the load order than any other mod that modifies the same thing) and in case of pex files (scripts) it loads either the one that's loose in your DataScripts folder or if it doesn't find any it obtains it from the bsa archive associated with the plugin that's loaded last in the load order out of all plugins that have bsa archives which contain the script.

    So for example:
Unofficial Dawnguard Patch and Vampric Thirst both make changes to "PlayerVampireQuestScript.pex" so if you load them both it means only one version of it will be used by the game. If you installed VT you probably want to use VT's version.

To decide which version to use the game will look at your load order. If VT is loaded AFTER UDP your load order is correct and VT's script will take precedence because the game will refer to mslVampiricThirst.bsa to obtain the correct version of the script. If somehow you managed to load unofficial patch after VT or any other mod you are a very very very naughty person and should immediately eat your computer because you fail modding forever ^^

Using BOSS LOOT automatically sorts your plugins according to a constantly updated online library so if you're installing lots of mods (like me) you should use BOSS LOOT!

But what if you fixed it and you're still experiencing the problem?
It can mean one of two things:
    a) You have a loose script in your DataScripts folder
    b) Traces of your old configuration got stuck in the savegame

If a) you need to go to your DataScripts folder and manually remove the conflicting pex file from it (in case of VT the scripts that conflict are "PlayerVampireQuestScript.pex" and " DLC_PlayerVampireChangeScript.pex" ).
If not a) it is probably b) It is yet another important thing about how the game manages mods. Officially skyrim doesn't support uninstalling mods or installing them in the middle of a playthrough. Because someone at bethesda thought it would be soooooo fun to complicate everyone's lives even if you uninstall a mod or remove a script traces of the old thing will stay in your savegame and continue to live a life of its own. Kinda like a ghost who is programmed to interact with the game but it can't do it right because you uninstalled its body so it tries to possess orphaned pieces of code to mess up your game and gosh that was the weirdest metaphor ever.

The important thing is that even if you think you uninstalled something it is still in your savegame sleeping in your bed, borrowing your clothes, eating your food and teaching your children to swear.

This is why Vampiric Thirst has the "Update" function in its MCM menu. After resolving the conflict or mod order issue you should use it. It works by (among other things) disabling and then restarting certain quests managing VT including PlayerVampireQuest. By doing that it targets the house the ghost of the old script is haunting with a high intensity molecular disruptor beam and atomises it so the ghost doesn't have any place to haunt anymore and is dragged by the hair screaming into the afterlife. After that it rebuilds the house so a living script can move in and live happily ever after. Awww poor ghost.

So this is 4 things you should do before reporting an issue:
+ Check for mod conflicts (for example using CK or wrye bash)
    + Check load order
    + Remove loose script files
+ Use "Update" function from VT's MCM menu

Warning! If you are using Mod Organiser your folder structure will be different. If you suspect you have a conflicting script somewhere you'll need to look for it in each of your mod directories.

Does anyone else use DVA with this mod? If so, how do you get the eyes to work for you? For me they're stuck on the vanilla Vampire eyes, though that might be because I installed DVA only after getting turned, while VT was active since the beggining of the game. Still, functions like blood around mouth after feeding work fine.

There are mods you can brew animal blood bottles and they act like a feed, but you'd have to search  nexus for ..

But EnaiSaion has mad a  similar mod , good ol Enai xD  you can find it here  -- https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/77465  called Modern Brawl bug Fix
And says not over write it , but to load his fix mod After any mod that brawl bug might effect .. ^^   ( just putting it out there )
I'd actually like to try this out ...
This is a nice but light  mod, fits in seemingly Endorsed Tracking  Kudo'd

It is a shame that people take on the task of making a mod but then abandoned it?
Like they just gave up? Knowing one needs to update as others who are responsible do so to keep up-to-date?
At least get some body to take it over?

I apologize if I offended anybody.

The reality is Bethesda should be fixing this game not modders?

More so when Bethesda refuses to open their source code up to modders so the code can be fixed.

Just calling me a 12 yr old doesn't nothing to lower the toxic nature of the internet. The SwordofCronus really swearing does what?
Only shows me you fail to understand the nature of a RL discussion about problems?  Being able to have a open discussion regarding gaming
problems without being Sworn-at-by-I am guessing you are the 10 yr old pointing the finger because you failed to use your really toon-names?

Jesus, after reading some of those comments I feel bad for you MsLeeches. Some people are just super ungrateful. Thank you for your hard work on this mod, and best of luck to you in your future endeavors.

Seems to repeatedly trigger the "Cannot wait in this location" (or sleep) bug for no reason. Have to keep reverting my save.

Edit: Sunlight. It's the sunlight, but the bug carries over farther than it should. If I am in direct sunlight at any given point, and if I go to an interior to avoid it, the "cannot wait in this location" status sticks around. Even using the console to rig the time back to night and exiting the interior doesn't make it budge.

I've uninstalled all mods I believed to be conflicting with this one (which I have discovered they weren't), and I have sorted with LOOT and even refreshed PlayerVampireQuestScript.pex many times. Still, the bug sticks around. If I touch sunlight, I have to revert my save. I cannot visit shops in the normal hours of the day.
I don't care for sunlight damage anyways, so finding a way to disable sunlight response completely would possibly fix my issue. Any ideas from those of you still clutching this dead mod? :/

Which follower mod is best with VT?
Using EFF there is no contract feeding or VT feeding. It did work at first but not now.
    Any ideas?

Is there a fix for when my character can't move after feeding? I know Sacrosanct included such fixes. But I was hoping that a mod was out there that worked in combination with this one.

      Hey man,

I never comment in nexus, but I had same problem as you and it was nightmare for months, so I feel your pain. All you need to do, is open console and write:

      SetPlayerAIDriven 0
Then enter and leave console mode. This should fix it, cheers!
