I've never seen anyone review my mods LOL my mods are too small for reviews to look at - so you're technically correct there is no good reviews, but there is also no bad reviews XD
Hi, the perk doesn't work. It do absorb my D soul when i choose perk, but i get no perk after. I didn't install the mcm menu mod, does it really necessary for the perk exchange ?
Bug with the altar right now, looking into it to see why. If you want to reclaim your lost soul then just open the command console and type player.modav "Dragonsouls" X, where X is the number of souls you've lost.
Guh, you can recover those lost souls via the command console if you so wish. just hit the tilde key (`) and type player.modav "dragonsouls" # with # being how many souls you lost to trading at the altar. I look at the script later to find out what went wrong. Thanks for the report, i seem to be have varied issues with the altar lately.
Try with a fresh savegame, sometimes the older savegames' scripting engine don't work properly, especially when modded. Everything works fine for me, so it's either a: i missed a file in the .zip folder b: your savegame is messed c: mod conflict or d: something i can't think of Ruling out the easy options makes it easier to narrow down.
O.k, been a while since i updated this, thigns came up (Most recently a game called Defiance). Anyway tomorrow (Sat 13/Apr, GMT) will be the next update, which will be basically an update to the MCM menu allowing you to trade souls straight from there (See new screenshot). I found this a neat compromise - Some people don't like the location of the altar so now you can go where you like to trade the souls. However you could abuse it and not make the trip to your favourite/lore friendly locale but i decided that this was largely a self-inflicted problem of the user and the nice people would use it as intended I've also updated the stats section to show un-allocated perks and update itself whenever you trade souls in the menu. As a bonus (Well by-product is more correct...) the max amount of souls you can trade is however many you have A few tweaks to be made but nothing that can't be done by tomorrow...
The Altar is still there, the MCM menu is na extra option A long while a go i was asked to make a new place to trade souls, this mcm menu allows you to pick anywhere as your location.
The next thing in my mind is to allow you to trade stats back into souls incase you want to respec your character. Or it could allow you to remove useless magicka from a warrior type character and pour it into health, stamina or perks e.t.c. First i'm gonna work on my tougher dragons mod a bit more.
lets clear something,in your latest upload V 1.05a you have ONLY one script (dsaaltarscript.pex ) and its source file, in your previous version you have 3 scripts...to clarify ,this dsaaltarscript.pex is the only script we need ? (cause I know that for a mod to use MCM menu needs a script usually named something with config..). Please reply ASAP because I don't want to play and save game with possible missing scripts..
there should be 3 scripts, will upload a version without the .bsa and only loose files, that way i can be sure they are there. Creation kit is refusing to pack the scripts.
I haven't implemented the soul trading into the MCM menu just yet, you will still have to use the altar in High Hrothgar to do the trading until i finish the scripting for the MCM menu. The MCM menu can only let you change how much of an attribute you get per soul (and in the version i'm working own you can view you stats)
n the version i have the perk option is there so if it doesn't appear on the altar menu at High Hrothgar then i probably packed the wrong .esp. i'm uploading a the newest version at the weekend anyway so i'll make sure the right .esp is uploaded then.
Yeah, was busy trying to get the darn thing to work, the documentation wasn't helpful to me (Not the author's fault, i just think differently to others). Will add the option to controll how many perks you get and possiblely converting the souls directly from MCM. Just have to work it all out.
Also please check your latest 1.05 upload because there is a script folder but also a similar folder in the bsa package(bsa has a newer dsaaltarscript.pex and its source so I think this is what you want to be on top, loose files take priority of bsa packs so having both mess things up..). Better have only in bsa all the scripts or only loose files, not both.( I unpacked them and use as loose files everything)
Crap, did i forget to remove them? I think i must of just copied the entire contents of the mod's folder into the .zip then (I keep copies of them all in their own folder incase anyting goes wrong) i keep both loose files and the .bsa in the folder. Was probably me just being too lazy to read what i was stick in it. Sorry bout that, i'll upload the new .zip file with the latest MCM menu stuff at the weekend and remove the looses files before i upload it then (just working on getting the menu to actually let you convert souls in it)

The Atlar menu doesn't work when i want to trade souls for perks, the amount of souls that i wanted to trade do disappear but i dont get the perks.
The other menu MCM, does work.
Edit: Yer i did, I'll re-upload the file.
Edit: Just tried with the new file and now the altar gives no perks and the MCM still gives a maximum of 1 per soul.
So from now on we will always have two choices, the altar AND via MCM menu right ? (or with the newer update the altar is gone ?)
