I am having difficulty running the Special Edition on my machine and getting the new Creation Kit to work properly. I am also currently attending law school and do not have a lot of free time in which to do the conversions. Porting my work to the Special Edition will be done at my discretion. Do not ask me for an ETA. No one has my permission to port any of my mods to the Special Edition.
You can do it yourself through the Creation Kit, just don't upload it to the nexus without Author's permission, but at this point the mod author is probably inactive and has forgotten about Skyrim, +it's been so many years.
Would you consider having an alternate file that actually only changes the housecarls and stewards and not the yarls? I know it seems odd, but I am actually wanting to use Shiva's Vanilla Clothing Replacer. If I use the two together, the jarls convert back to the regular jarl clothes which aren't as nice as the Shiva's replacers. But if I only use Shiva's Clothing Replacer, the stewards and housecarls stay in their stupid ugly farm clothes and crap. I tried editing out the jarls only from your plugin but apparently I can't do that in TES5Edit and my CK just crashes and crashes Grrrrr. :-(
I don't think maven's clothing should change. She doesn't look right in a dress. The crown is a status symbol, I can see why she would wear it. But the dress? It's not her style.
Scripting didn't change and will not need any updating. In fact, you're mod will likely work out of the box. If you can manage to open the mod in the new CK and resave, I image your mod will work without issue unless you're referencing very specific things in your scripts, like formIDs. Just my two cents after converting my own mod.
