I have a weird problem with Borgakh her face texture is the color of a human with no warpaint even in a new game ? all the other orcs male and female are correct ?. Could you tell me what files effect just her face so i can have another go a solving this issue as i can not seem to fix it myself.
Could someone help me out with a problem here? Any form of help would be most appreciated.
For some reason, some of the faces just plain don't work for me. Mjoll, Frea, Iona, Jenassa, Ria, and I'm pretty sure everyone works, except for Lydia, Njada and Uthgerd, who don't (I haven't been able to test out the others yet). They have neck seams, darker faces, and no face paint. This applies to both the legendary & legendary alternative packs. I've tried putting the 4 .esp's on the top of my load order and the bottom, deactivated AFT, etc. and still Lydia is stuck with her ugly default face
I have the Navetsea face recommended version 1.8 rev1 along with the face paints mod. The only things loading after follower facelifts is Realistic Water Two, my bashed patch for leveled lists, Daedric Dawnbreaker, and Warburg's 3D paper map.
Again, any help would be much appreciated. Anything to get ugly blockhead Lydia off my monitor Thanks!
I'm having the same problem, except with different followers- mostly Companions it seems. Would love some advice on how to fix this, cause I love the faces when they show up
Alright, thanks anyway This is still an absolutely amazing mod, and is working perfectly with AFT on my new character. I think that there was just something in the old save that was causing the grey faces.
Not directly related to this mod, but maybe you know how to fix the issue: I have the mod Enhanced Skyrim Factions The Companions loaded after this mod, so I made a patch using the NPC Appearance Patcher and Aela got the appearance from this mod and other stats from the previous mod, in Tes5Edit. But in game, Aela has a grey face, like she has the wrong texture/mesh for her face. However, I took care to let this mod's face files overwrite any other in Mod Organizer. What is more strange is she has her default hair in game also, even while the last mod loaded has the hair from your mod. I might have to do some console commands to try to fix her.
Thats the worst, I already did that, and looking at TES5edit, the last loaded plugin (ASIS) has the Follower Facelifts values for texture lighting and the face data. I think that must be something to do with the mod I said above, I never got Aela face modded with that mod loaded. The must be something weird going on. Will check that next.
Edit: No luck yet, cant seen to find what is the problem. I think it's not possible to revert npc appearance ingame with scripts or something, that some mod might be messing with Aela and not showing up in tes5edit.
I just went and try this Mod myself (the FULL version)
I loaded it BEFORE the Follower Facelifts, and Aela looks like she should... no dark face. And she does get the new dialogy, such as "Would you spar with me?"
So load it BEFORE the Facelift ESPs, if that still bugs it out it must be another Mod.
The only other thing i changed to some NPCs apart from looks was the Gender, some Females had Male Gender selected as Animations.
I even uninstalled the mod to see if it would help and it didnt fix Aela dark face. There must be something wrong, maybe somehow something got copied over to my skyrim/data folder thats overriding mod organizer folder. What is more intriguing is that its not only the dark face, its the hair also, she keeps vanilla hair (and face, just dark colored because of this mod's facegen data).
Edit: I disabled my Asis patch and started a new game just to check, Aela has the right face then, it must be something on the ASIS patch. Maybe I will just delete her form the patch to see if it works.
Edit2: Its not Asis, its the save game, if I start new game, she has the right face/hair. Tried disable, enable, resurrect, recycle actor, nothing. There must be a way to have it reset.
It's because i havn't re-uploaded that file, and only renamed it on the site. So the file itself still has the old name.
The Main Files contain all the "optional" files from the "optional" download section.
Selecting which follower you want is not going to happen, because that means every follower needs it's own ESP files. I have to create every single follower from scratch again.
What i meant is an installer that lets you chose between the alternatives you made but still installs all..never mind. I'm just using the "Follower Facelifts Females - Legendary Edition Alternatives" from the misc section as i prefer what you did with Lydia in that one. Cheers.
Hello! Just reporting a interesting mod I found to mostly solve any incompatibilities between this mod and other mods that affect the same npcs: TES5Edit NPC Appearance patcher (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/41889). It will carry over the npc face values along with to the last mod that modifies that npc. This is my favorite follower face mod and with this other mod I can use it and others that affect the same npcs!
Also I would like to ask if you plan changing some male followers?
Only looked at screenshots, remaking my npc patch, then asis patch. Guess who is my current companion? Faendal! I like Eric transition to Eric the Slayer, makes me wonder how they didnt think of that in vanilla, like so many other great mods.
He might be a bit too young and girly looking at the moment. The aim was to make him younger tho, since the girl he wants to go with isn't a granny either ^^
Then again, hes talking with his eyes wide open on the screenshot. So things might look out of place due to that.
I think I just lost Faendal to Mirmulnir last night, so I didnt save after the fight. Had installed the male facelifts mid Bleak Falls Barrow, not much opportunity to see his face. But from the screenshots overall they are great, not deviating too much from their original appearance, which is good.
You are able to isolate whatever character you want using TES5EDIT. Open the mod, select the character record you want from the NPC section, right click copy as override into new file, name your file and its done. Now you must take care to let only the character you want have the face files into meshes and textures folder (if you use mod organizer that easy to do). Enable only your just created esp and disable Follower Facelifts esp.

For me it works with both AFT and UFO and some other NPC Tweaked Mods, such as the Gender Fixer, Trap Safety.

I'm using Basvanbues Mod aswell.
So it must be another Mod causing it, or you have a bad Load Order.

And it's related to the ESP files not being in the right order.
Try playing with the load order, see if it fixes it.

And i see no optional versions inside like it says it has ?
An installer that lets you see the faces of each character and lets you chose which one you want to install would be very handy.
The Main Files contain all the "optional" files from the "optional" download section.

I know some of them look like mongs
I will most likely be using DCE - Realistic Male Face by Drumber
Would also like a list of all the Vanilla + DLC Followers

I personally like what i done to Erik the Slayer aswell, bit more beard, warpaint and a scar... it makes sense
