I had the same idea, I'm not too skilled in the CK but I love how the iron armor looks now. Having this and brigand installed makes some parts of those armors invisible so I was hoping to split the armor and make variants.
Sleeve version? I want to make the iron armor sleeved, which another one does, but I presume this overwrites it, so yeah. I want sleeves and to get rid of the skirt.
@m920cain I'm not good at writing tutorials, but basically it's a "mashup" using nifsope ... Deleting parts of the original texture, adding an alpha property to he mesh, then "mashing" or pasting in the pants from the prisoner mesh, if you go to the forums and spend some time going through the various posts you can find all the info you need ... Plus I always say "have a go" It can't hurt
@ KnightRangersGuild Absolutely, if you want to make standalone version, please do. It's not difficult, but TBH, I'm to lazy ATM to do it, I was thinking of doing standalones once I've finished making the Skirtless versions of most of the male armors. I just use them as replacers in game, but I know a lot of people prefer the choice. @ asc_kel I noticed that too, don't know who did it, but it seems to have fixed itself now, thanks for the support BTW, It's what making and uploading these mods is all about.
I wanted to do this a long time ago, to fulfill the requests everyone was asking for off my other mod for the Imperial armors, but I've had a lot of personal issues cropping up involving possibly losing my house / parents soon. Glad someone finally was able to take up where I left off on the pants mods as they're severely over due.
Edit: Negative rep? Really? Guess there really is no respect or manners around here.
Looking good, just like it was always part of the armor. Though I personally enjoy the skirt/quilt-themed style of Skyrim. But good effort and I am sure many people will enjoy it.
