Everything and it's mother already resist frost in Skyrim. Kinda like how fire damage was kinda useless in Morrowind, but Skyrim is even more drastic. Fluffy warm teddy bears, ice worms, fluffy warm doggos, fluffy warm big ugly kitties, 3/4ths of all bandos, the list goes on and on. Ty for making at least 1 major enemy group weak to it
No, they are supposed to be immune to fire. I never changed anything about the fire or poison resistances. Those remain vanilla and are still consistent with the book I based the resistances on.
Thank you! The first time I encountered a Steam Centurion in Blackreach, I tried to freeze it, remembering precisely the book you cite in the mod description. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that not only was it not weak against frost, but indeed it was entirely resistant to it!
If you are talking about how Paralyze is an alteration spell in game and an Illusion spell in the book then I think that is still fine to be honest. There are books here and there that mention spells and spell schools getting redefined or reclassified by Guild Masters and other renowned mages.
Skyrim's Paralyze could also be a completely different form of the spell. Using a different means and school of magic to garner the same result.
I guess that is why it never bothered me like the one brought up in Ruins of Kemel-Ze.
Very Cool Man, It actually makes Ice Spells useful in more circumstances then when fighting Fire Dragons. I always though use both Fire/Ice spells screw Shock but I always play Dragon-Slayers...But anyway this is a nice change very lore friendly which I am always for. Already Endorsed...which is sadly one of the 2 so far this needs more I think.
Oh right. Sorry about that, SumGhai. I wasn't sure if it would work on the one or two Dwarven enemies that came in Dawnguard without so I made it use that but I'll upload one with out the need for Dawnguard.

Also, they are immune to fire damage. Is that how the mod works, or is something wrong at my end?

However, your mod lists the .esp as requiring Dawnguard....which I unfortunately don't have. Is there a version that doesn't require Dawnguard to use?
