Almost complete with the new update, makeing it posible to look inside from the outside! Ran into a bit of a snag though, but getting close as you can see here...
OK, wanted to qualify my prior comment on BOW2 to specify that I was referring to BOW1 when I said it "just works".
BOW2 works!Hearthfires also works. .As others have noted, however, BOW2 + HF CTDs on loading Breezehome.

The ONLY CK warning that the specific combo of HF + BOW2 combined kicks out (thus the only snag I can see) is the following:
MASTERFILE: Did not find matching NavMeshInfo for NavMesh ID 000CB4F3 in cell WhiterunBreezehome, Creating a temporary one
I would have thought that one of the missing textures or animations BOW2 gives warnings on (there are several) would have been an issue, but BOW2 does not CTD itself, so those are not suspect.
I had also thought the game chugged happily along w/broken/missing navmeshes, as it seems to all the time, but this was the only warning that the specific combo of BOW2 + HF produced.
Just FYI.
P.S.
Are you going to make all the slat windows viewable? So far, in each panel, one is see-through and one isn't.
Great work, man. It is great being able to see outside, and I dig that you even got the day/night cycle in there (or is that default for all cells that see the sky?)
I am looking fwd to a Hearthfires-compatable revision so I can edit it to make my own Breezehome that isn't a TARDIS, like the vanilla game makes it. Clearly, Bethesda realized late in the process that they put the firepit too far fwd, so patched the design to add the extra row of tiles, making the interior too big. They didn't even bother to increase the size of the second floor when they did it. Clear hack-patch on Bethesda's part.
I don't see why this wouldn't be compatible with Hearthfires. And yes there are a few miner mistakes as this was one of my first mods but nothing serious. I still use it, been using it for a year and a half, with no problems, but thanks I will eventually fix it and upgrade it.
great mod and idea, sadly not compatible with "Breezehome Renovation with Bathroom" ID 9755
The renovation-mod adds a new room downstairs right next to the stairs and enlarges the room with the alchemy table, so now there are some (vanilla) walls in the way. would be great to get a version that's compatible but i know you can't get it to work with everything :-)
Just FYI, you know that any pre-industrial societies with no plumbing had no bathrooms; outhouses were the rule. The smell and infections simply could not be controlled since there was no plumbing to pump the stuff out of the house.
Not saying you should uninstall the bathroom mod which is conflicting, just that it in no way increases realism, if that was what you were after, as Skyrim lacks plumbing, for the most part.
Well done, sir Knight. This mod does what it says, and has been solid as a rock for months, now.
The only way I can even manage to coax the mod to glitch is to "showracemenu" in the house, which freezes the curtains in mid-flutter until a restart of the game. As showracemenu isn't something one should be doing all the time, this is a non-issue ofc; I just noted it because it was actually quite amusing.
You have an BOW2 mod on your original BOW page, as well. Is it the same mod? I actually like the blowing curtains, but will drop them if you say they cause issues in BOW2, as more windows is good.
Did you ever get the reverse (look in from outside) done, or is is still the Dark Brotherhood window outside in BOW2?

EDIT: Doesn't matter, CTD every time I go inside Breezehome, I didn't notice it's not compatible with Hearthfire.
