I dunno why but the embers look really weird in my game.
I use enb and the textures are greyed out and weird.
They look fine with no enb active though.
    The textures are really gorgeous.
    Will this get enb Patch?
I was hoping I would be able to use it in my game.
    Im using tetrachromatic enb.

useful tip : like me you most likely all have other textures from packs or separate mods, don't use the BSA version if yes, loose files always override .bsa textures apparently and I was wondering for 3 days why the embers didn't look like the ones on your screen ><
ditched the .bsa .esp and dled the loose files version and now I see the new embers in all their beauty, thank you

Sometimes you need the .esp file, even if you're going to use the loose files like Purity mod for example, and sometimes you don't need it, like this mod, don't know why!

I can kind of tell you why, some "mods" are simply a shape change (meshes folder) or texture change (textures folder) most of the time they don't need any esp to work, but if you want to add more changes than that, for example a "produces smoke" effect then you need esp
I'm sure there are more complex reasons but that's one

Why does this mod include an ESP when it is only a re-texture?

Edit: the loose files do not so no matter

Sometimes you still need the .esp file, even if you're going to use the loose files like Purity mod for example, and sometimes you don't need it, like this mod, don't know why!

Weirdly been getting an error - "archive size bigger than entire mod. May be corrupt". Happened with this mod and spend dragon souls for perks mod. Not sure what's going on.

they work together. including this mod into "realistic smoke and embers" provides the best quality. as these embers are higher quality and darker,

Better embers replace exactly the same files from RSE, so choose between this or RSE, it's up to you.
Both replace the same files, so no they don't work together

Too late for the comment, but... "better than Realistic Smoke and Embers"... both mods ARE THE SAME, but Isoku's is older and has an HD version...

Can it be installed using the "add from file?" feature in NMM for SSE? I got CTD when i tried it this way using Loose Files.

Provided you use the "Loose Files" version in the Files tab and not the BSA version, it should be fine acting as a straight up texture replacer.

I installed the 'loose files' version and its working so far! So it would seem to since it's just textures.
