my absolute favorite house mod for skyrim. cozy and a deserving resting place of the dovahkiin's spouse and precious loot while being discreetly out of the way. its very humbling and the fact that there's no fasttravel marker for it makes the casual walk from the windhelm gates that much more immersive! adore this
Normally don't comment on mods, but this one really deserves it... Small lore-friendly home in Windhelm, which suited my needs for the moment.
But what makes this mod so great is the attention to detail, i must admit i had not expected that. (THIS IS PERFECT FOR MY IMMERSION ROLEPLAYING WAY OF LIFE!)
When interacting with the 'kitchen' i discovered the food baskets/drawers/cabinets were actually storage units, complete with names and they look the part: Vegetable basket, bread & cheese basket, etc. This is awesome! that means i can actually go grocery shopping and store the groceries in my house!! THAT'S IMMERSION!!!! Not only that, but when i looked up and opened the cabinet above me, there was actual silverwear/cups/plates/dishes storage units too! Now i can go buy cutlery and furnish my kitchen!!! THAT'S IMMERSION!!!! THAT'S REALISM!!!!
This mod is way underrated when it comes to immersion and roleplaying, definetly deserves 50k+ downloads, this is absolutely perfect for the person who doesnt want to play Skyrim, but wants to live in it.
I absolutely love finding these little gems! Perfect sized home with just enough features too make it useful but not so many has to wreck the feel of a small home. Endorsed and tracked!
Beautifully done small city house. Named containers are great. Everything seems to work well so far. I only use "buyable" houses, and very happy to have discovered this one. Only thing, had to make it a bit more expensive to keep in line with "expensive investments". Totally approved!
I hadn't read the description carefully (missed the part about how to buy). So, since many player house mods leave the key near the door, I poked around, found the key, and moved in.
This is an awesome little hide-away home in the grey quarter. I have used it for a while now and none of the problems listed below. Ideal for a thief, someone wanting to lay low or just a little get away from the followers.
So i have tested it now. The style and idea is great but i had to remove the mod.
The containers are not fix and thats a problem. There can be a mess in the house very soon and if there is no save to rely on you´re in trouble.
First pic: If the books move or fall down this is what will happen. Second pic: I grabbed a book for testing purposes and moved it. That´s how it looked like then. Third pic: If a follower is in the kitchen and you´re moving around (or just touching the basket) this is the result. Ok not to bad when you can move the basket to another place but it´s worse with the bottles of wine.
If someone wanna use the house it´s highly recommended to save before enter it, don´t use followers in there and don´t touch some items (like the books on the bookshelf) or you have weird stuff in there.
Would be great if that could be fixed because it´s a nice home at all.

Nonetheless finally a house for my current dark elf charakter.
