Any chance you could do this for Magicka too. I would love to play a mage who needed potions and sleep to recharge, and not just revive by waiting around.
Pete Nash: As you probably know, the Atronach stone disables Magicka regeneration. If you use Character Creation Overhaul you can choose any birth-sign at character creation, and an optional module removes the stones so you can't change it. That might give you what you want?
Shouldn't, the mod essentially just adds a skill that damages health regen instead of negating it, thats why potions of hp regen and hist skin still work.
@Pete Nash: I have tried, but unlike health which transfers to the no-regen gameplay fairly smoothly; spells don't have enough oomph So then it becomes a, do I buff spells or reduce magicka costs, what spells should or shouldnt get buffed? should I just increase base magicka?
So on so forth with lots of balance issues and annoyances abound.
So while i have considered it, unlike this mod, it would not be a "quick fix" it would be a lot of balancing the entire magicka system, which unfortunately means I will be pissing off someone, and with this kind of mod I like to do simple little changes, so that people can pick and choose what they want.
well, not so sure about that now, it seems that if you ever reload a save for any reason including death the regeneration comes back. Anyone else found this problem?
