Nernie, this is a great mod. The home is right up my alley. Good storage, compact, not a bunch of clutter and connected to the Ragged Flagon. I'll take this mod over all other house mods out there. It's perfect for a solitary thief such as myself. Endorsed!!
I've succeeded in porting the main mod to SSE, but I can't seem to get the General Stores addon to convert. Do you think there may ever be a possibility for a conversion?
Would love to see a port of this to SSE. Would you be willing to upload yours? Nernie hasn't been active since November 2016, based on user activity feed. I doubt this will ever see a full port, but I'd be happy to use whatever I can get ^_^
Nernie Gave me permission, I'm gonna see about uploading it. I've never uploaded before so this should be interesting. Heads up, the general stores addon doesn't work, and I couldn't figure out how to seal it in a BSA (so it's just loose files)
Am I missing something, or is the recipe for Smoked Quartz Necklace wrong? It says it needs malachite ore, so it seems that I have this useless smoked quartz in my inventory. I can fix it myself, but I am curious. Thank you. After reading more I see others find this to be an error as well. I will fix it myself as I do not see the MA responding here. If you do see these Nernie, thanks for the mod.
Same question here! I fear there could be some problems, because the mod adds the new shops & homes in Windhelm and Riften. Would be great to know if there are major conflicts to expect.
This mod has become a permanent fixture in my load order, even when not playing a thief. Love the small touches in Riften and Windhelm, the jewelry and gems, the bakery (yum!), the fence merchant, and everything else packed in here. And I especially love the Canal home with GD's modfications.
One of my favorite mods, as are all of your others. Thank you.
Are the armors craftable, and if so how? Also, would it be possible to make a smaller standalone mod that just includes the armor and nothing else? I plan on trying this out, but am not sure about compatibility issues with other mods I'm using... I'd also rather keep my current game and not start a new one. Some others have posted comments about certain parts of the mod not working unless they start a new game. Mod looks fantastic though, and I love the armor!
good mod but really annoying when I cant find important information such as the NPC names for the shop keepers, Waits-in-shadows was missing and required console commands to make him appear and had no further issues. However the Canal trader and locksmiths shopkeeper's name seems to be missing from any post making it impossible outside of new saves, and hours of digging to find him/her. In the end I gave up trying to dig up the name so I could respawn him/her and just used console commands to give myself the swords. Sadly that was the truly best feature of this mod in my opinion. Pickpocketing and in general thieving feel useful is something I haven't seen around a lot past massive reworks which in the end just covers up the fact that after a while you just turn into a mercenary or assassin as breaking into homes for a few hundred septims just isn't rewarding enough anymore. The idea of some nice easy to get starter homes in major crime cities is truly awesome, and using gemstones to make weapons while also having other new daggers added is just a cherry on top of an amazing idea. In the end, I love the minor tweeks you gave thieves early on, cheap affordable but run down homes are a trade mark for the shadowy figure on the go, and making nobles homes feel like they're rich and have items worth stealing that I can then forge into glorious weapons for murder is always fun
4/5 stars in general but 3.85/5 atm because I cant find the bloody shop keeper :C
I downloaded this mod recently, i love it, it's awesome, i just kinda have a question. There are veined ores and uncut gems, i think they were added by this mod cause i've never seen them before and they are all over the windhelm gem shop. Can anything be done with these veined ores and uncut gems, can we refine them, or are we not able to do that and we just sell them to somebody?
