Ok, people are VERY bad at explaining how this works, so i am gonna go in DETAIL on how to do this, and make it work.
This works with windows 8, i dont know if it works with anything else, but it doesnt hurt to try.
    Here we go.

    1. Make a folder on your desktop called "Dawnguard fix" or whatever u want. Make sure it is empty.
    2. Launch skyrim, load the save where u jump out of third person, and then save it as a new file. (so it is your newest save) close skyrim afterwards
    3. Download the mod, take the two files called "out.bat" and "sfk.exe" and drag them into the folder u created.
    4. Go into C:\Users\"yourname" and THEN search for "my games"
    5. The folder "My Games" should come up, open this.
    6. When inside "My Games" click Skyrim and then go into saves
    7. Scroll ALL THE WAY to the bottom. There will be two files, with the same save number. One of them ends with .ess and the other one with .skse
    8. Grab the one ending with .ESS and copy it into the folder u created in step 1
    9. Go into the folder u created, and double click the file called "out.bat"
    10. A window will appear, click "y" then "enter"
    11. The file you pasted in the folder in step 8 is now called "fix.ess"
    12. Go into your saves folder, and copy the name of the save you copied in step 8 (the one ending with .ESS)
    13. Click your "fix.ess" and choose "rename" and paste the name you copied in the last step.
    14. The file should now have the EXACT same name as the other one
    15. Drag the fixed file into your "saves" folder, click "yes" when it asks if you want to overwrite.
    16. Open skyrim, load your newest save.
    17. Boom

I know these are many steps, but people are UNABLE to explain how to deal with this "mod" after you download it.
Go through the steps, and you will, most likely, loose your third person bull***
Comment if you dont, i might be able to help.

Would like to add that the My Games folder can simply be found in your My Documents folder. Also, if you are going to do this, MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR SAVE!

btw... if you choose to keep the save called "Fix" simply rename the skse-file as well (Fix.skse) to maintain skse to work on your new saves. Just saying Otherwise any new save will be corrupt from now on and skse won't work.

Totally worked! Saved my hide. Thanks so much for making this.

Only problem I've noticed is that once in a while when I feed using Better Vampires, I get teleported to random places nearby. This happens very rarely that I don't see it as an issue.

This fix didn't work for me on Special Edition files at all, modded or unmodded. But, if you're in a situation like me where you are moving files from Legendary to Special Edition, what worked for me was to go back into Legendary, disable ALL mods, save out a new file, run the fix. I tested to make sure the fix worked in Legendary, THEN I transferred the file to SE and saw no further problems. I ended up losing some progress along the way I had made in SE, but nothing I was unwilling to redo for a level 50 character.

Couldn't tell you how to do it with files that originate in SE, but those that originate in Legendary maybe that'll help someone!

Thank You for this mod or fix..............I read your post in the Nexus Forums but, alas I am one of those people that are unable to figure out or use a hex editor.
And your creation here helped me so much! Fixed the darn bug! Thank You!
