This is a very short dungeon crawl - or more so an old ruin structure - suited at the mountainside near the cave exit of Bleak Falls Barrow. I say it again, it's very short, but nevertheless it has a nice atmosphere in it. The light conditions are dark, yet fully visible making the place look abandoned and eerie at the same time. Great effort of the lights, especially since I don't mind a bit darker halls.
I agree on the fact there should be at least one or two keys to be found. It's more logical and also helps the characters not trained in the art of lockpicking. The fights started easy, but soon accelerated into fierce life-and-death combat, especially if you come poorly equipped (without saying too much about what's needed to help you survive). I managed to prevail though, even with a low-leveled sword-and-shield fighter character, but I must say I had a follower with me as backup...and she died.
The ending came too fast in my opinion. I know there's a twist, but I feel I would've enjoyed the "quest" even more if it lasted for a while - or at least gave me an impression of doing so. That said, short is not at all bad and I'm sure this can been weaved into some larger quest in the future.
Am I the only one who can't end this quest ? Found the note, found the stone, got it, and now there is a marker just behind the front door on the ground o.O
nice effort. I really enjoyed the dungeon lighting.. was very atmospheric.
I would have preferred if keys to the doors had been on enemies or hidden in shelves etc. my apprentice mage character who is not a locksmith had to console her way in..lol.
u might want to clean the mod now that TES5edit is available as there a few identical to master and deleted refs in there.
will endorse once I redownload..I forgot to log in when I downloaded before..oops.
Awesome. Please let me know what you think of it. It hasn't gotten as many downloads as some, but the endorsements and comments are overwhelmingly positive. It is a much larger mod than this one though heh
Ok, cool. The more complex one has the layout done, and probably 50% clutter, but I've got a Unity project going with a group of people, so I have to work on it in my spare spare time, so it might take a bit of time to get done. I'll let you know when it is, but until then, I would suggest you try out The Dead Bee Scrolls, my other Quest/Dungeon mod I've created.
