I like this. It adds a little variety to the vanilla low level skeletons. I only one minor issue with it: seeing as skeletons use the same weapons as the draugr, (ancient nord) it would make more sense if they used ancient nord helmets instead. I understand that it might be a little overpowered, so if you do include it, I suggest using the non-player (unplayable) version of the helmet.
TennesseeVol: This mod shouldn't cause any conflicts because the skeletons are given helmets using outfits, not leveled lists. No existing leveled lists are edited by this mod.
Also, having conflicting leveled lists doesn't crash the game, it just means that one overwrites the other.
seems like it would conflict with the level lists or somesuch for the skellies, same as how you get a weapon mod to change some guys so they hold em and the other one givin em hats caused a CTD...
ScrooMoose: Nice! I actually tried seeing if I could get different armour models on the skeletons, but apart from helmets, they looked weird. I'd definitely like to see that in the game!
Can you make the models separate from the skeleton body so that they can be worn as an outfit? I don't want to create new creatures because that would require editing the leveled lists, which would overwrite the ones from Skyrim Monster Mod. But if you have to have them attached to the mesh, you could talk to Dogtown about using them. In any case, I'd love to see them implemented in either this mod or, if necessary, SkyMoMod. They look awesome!
Im glad i found this. I was looking for a resource that added more things done with skeletons and i randomly came across this mod. Good to see someone is looking deep in the files.
Just to let you know, if you want skeletons with armor attached to their mesh, i am working on a bunch of armored skeletons that are wearing all armours. If you want some i can upload for ppl to use.
Kaizersoze: This mod only edits EncSkeleton01Melee1H, EncSkeleton01Melee1Hshield, and EncSkeleton01Melee2H, and only to add an outfit to them. However, most of the other skeletons in the game use one of those three as a base actor, so I'm not sure if the Dawnguard ones are the same in that respect.
@CaptainLhurgoyf: I have got the Dawnguard just a few days ago and in creation kit I see most of Dawnguard related Actors, weapons etc. have their EditorID begining with 'DLC'. If you have not done editing on a lot of IDs, then could you please tell me the form ID or the Editor ID that you made changes in?
I would be interested in downloading this, but just want to avoid any possible future conflicts, have not started Dawnguard for now, so not seen the armored skeletons of dawnguard.
Great idea CaptainLhurgoyf, and I really like your Diverse Priests mod, I use it and it really adds some immersion to the game. I'll try this mod too. Thanks for making it.
