Have an issue with power version on predator vision.
I play with controller on my PC and for some reason predator power doesn't work. If I press B the hot key it will turn on but nothing when I use the shoulder button.
The MCM doesn't recognize controller inputs so not sure what to do. Only similar issues I saw was it not working all together haven't see just this issue yet. Thanks for any help , sorry if this was posted somewhere I thought I looked pretty well for a fix and didn't see one.
Can you do similar mod, which will illuminate not only live npc, but and dead npcs, items, and activation objects?) I tried to do this by redacting your mod, but CK errors "error encountered while attempting to reload the script" when I try to change papyrus script properties in "HuntersVisionThermalEffect" P.S. and yes, i'm noob in modding and i don't understand whats the problem =)
So there is "Predator lost tribes" and this mod would be AMAZING if it were do-able. When I start a game, if I start as predator, the vision doesn't work, which is weird, because I can literally load any other character and boom works fine... I Think it's predators "heat vision" that comes equipped. any work around?
Yup I too am having the same problem, I find that uninstalling, load the game up without it installed, wait for it to be removed from your MCM make a fresh new save, then reinstall it and it works.... sometimes. Hope this help some.
He all Okay yes am playing quite a modded game, I have been since Feb 2015 yet on my new builds I find Predator Vision does not operate in game at all. Yes I use Alternate Start - Live another Life, yes I have Frostfall/Campfire, iNeed, Wet n Cold. As for character control, being a more design fan of RPG I've gone back to the standard wider disparity with different races idea so that Customisable Character Creation, though I am also trying out Imperious - Races of Skyrim, and yet Predator Vision just has not in game effect. SKYUI has no problem recognising, initialising, and loading the mod, the MCM menu is there. The mod just does nothing ingame. I'm now very confused.
Same here. I can change SOME options in the MCMenu. Not all though. Example: I attempt to change the sound effect for Predator Vision instead of Night Vision and it changes the Night Vision instead, every single time.
I have a werewolf character as well. Predator isn't working for it. However, when I had a vampire character, it worked fine. It seems mildly pointless to play as a werewolf without some kind of night vision at least. Still looking for a solution..
i think it might have something to do with how the game recognizes races while the use of the race compatibility patch is running, as i've used a custom race (Matera) and i was able to use Predator vision just fine but it seems to have much hate on werewolves from races of the vanilla kind'
as for the alternative start live another life mod conflicting with this, i doubt that's the case anymore as i use the current version of it with every play-threw these days and had done so with the said matera character whom has fully functioning Predator vision, hence why i suspect that this mod is conflicting with the race compatibility patch.
i noticed a lack of support threads for this mod so i figure i'd start something and see if it helps anyone, but heres my question:
I've installed Predator Vision, and MCM recognizes it, i am a werewolf, however whenever i try to use the default N and B keys, nothing happens. Is it because i'm an Argonian? i've tried with both cheats on, and still nothing happens. any thoughts would be grand.
I am having the same issue tho I am a Breton my only guess is that we are missing some sort of load order priority but as to what it needs to go before or after i am stumped
I'm trying to pinpoint the problem. On some characters Night/Pred-vision works exactly as intended, all the time. I have a nord character currently who's a werewolf and I'd really like to use Predvision on but can't.
On the Nord character(and other characters where PredVision doesn't work), I notice that if I change a key (N to V for example) the entirety of MCM goes dead; I have to Tab backwards and reopen MCM before it works again.
From this Nord character, I loaded a save with a heavily modified custom race; predator and nightvision works, MCM does not keel over, no problems at all. I went back to the broken Nord save and changed his race and sex several times but could not induce a different response from Predator Vision or MCM which reliably keeled over each time I tried to change a setting in PredVision.
Messing with the load order did nothing. Uninstalling other mods that could mess with it did nothing. Been fidgeting with PredVision since I got it and have rather suffered this annoyance than try to find an alternative but it's becoming a little annoying now.
Something I have not really explored yet is the possibility that PredVision needs to initialize properly at character startup and that some of my characters don't do this successfully.

I've got Realistic Needs and Diseases installed as well, and I wondered if the Check Needs Power (using the N key) was getting confused with the Night Vision Power (also using the N key).
I uninstalled Realistic Needs but sod all happened. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Predator Vision, but again, nought.
I'm just going to have a play about and hope for the best. :S
I don't know your load order guys but if u have alternative start live another life predator vision conflicts with it. only thing what you need to do just uninstal predator vision, save game, reinstal it and load save. I hope it helps
I have the same issue. with me, the mod worked fine on the first character used it on after install. But later when I started a new pc, it acted as everyone has mentioned. the fix I used was to uninstall it, then save, and reinstall it. and it fixed it. BUT this is a pain in the rear for me seeing as I tend to start a lot of new characters.
Gopher is one of the great modders IMO so I am shocked he hasn't addressed and or fixed this problem
Hello Gopher, I am currently exploring the ruin's of Yngvild in skyrim and I noticed when I use predator vision the ghost's have heat coming off them? is this suppose to happen or did you not include predator vision to include ghost's with no heat signature?

1.Deactivate all features of this mod in-game and save.
2. Uninstall in your mod manager.
3. Go back into your game and save it again.
3. Re-install mod.
4. Should work fine now.
