Got this mod power leveled my werewolf form. Made the "tome" (its more like a bloody peice of paper but w/e) Read the tome and..I don't seem to have any buffs? I can't tell if my melee weapon and unarmed damage have been upped at all my axe did 30 DMG before perks and still does 30 DMG after my heatlh and stamina have been buffed up from 220 and 210 respectively.
This combined with night predators and some other features could make this mod as pratical and fun for werewolves as better vampires is for well... vampires
I believe in the Description / change log it says Gone is the unlimited shifting and night vision from version 1.2, you can use other mods for that and this makes The Beast Within compatible with every other werewolf mod since it no longer edits Beast Form. and in the changelog 1.2 -- Changed human form to separate ability that only gets added after first shift, also added the default Skyrim "NightEye" werewolf power that Bethesda left out which I think may answer your question
I crafted the tome at the tanning rack and used it but I don't seem to have acquired some of the benefit's which I was supposed to. The health and stamina boost is shown, and I seem to have the unarmed buff judging by the damage I'm doing now unarmed, however none of my weapon damage seems to have gone up, even though 8% is rather small I should see some increase to damage on my weapons right? I have a save with the tome's buff and without and both my dagger and bow are each showing the exact same damage on both saves. Other than that though the mod seems to work fine, I assume the health and stamina regeneration are working properly, though I haven't noticed it yet.
This is possibly a dumb question. But would this mod work with bloodmoon rising. I saw it had perks for the werewolf can i have both this mod and bloodmoon rising or one or the other?
sorry to reply with another question but i cant find teh place to comment anyways teh question is how to use the abilitys llike for axample the power that allows you to summon werewolfs as in teh normal game ones? (also sorry for all the misspells i just am in a hurry :/)
I love this mod, I alterd it a bit but still, fits so well and was exactly way I was looking for bc there were no perks to being a werewolf in human form before this mod, thank you again.
I've just downloaded this mod (version 1_31) . My Imperial Faol is already a fully perked werewolf, and in the werewolf perk tree the passive powers are described. but I don't see any change... When I punch somebody it seems to be the same insignificant damage of a brawl (I wear light armors).. And I don't have the Night eye... One question: the passive powers are checkable also on the Active Effects menu category?
Oh, and with or without the mod, there are no differences in the weapon damage or in the quantity of stamina and health... What can I do to make the mod work properly? Must I cure lycanthropy with the mod uninstalled and then have it back from Aela with the mod installed?
I have been using this mod for a few months now, I had it from the steam workshop, I loved how seamless it was, and the fact it has no scripts is just an amazing feature. (As in it's computable with whatever werewolf mod's I decided on). I'm currently overhauling my were-wolf, and the fact that the only two mods I kept for it for these last few months was Beastwithin and dawnguardwolfbuff; and I'm loosing the later one today.
To anyone on the fence about this, you owe it to yourself, it's quick, it's easy, and it's one of my favorite mods.
The recipe will not show up unless you have a human heart in your inventory. If you do have a human heart in your inventory, the recipe will again not show up if you have already learned the ability from the tome previously. If you upgraded from a previous version on an existing save it is possible you already have the ability on your character. Check your active effects once you get at least one Werewolf perk.

Can i use the optional "BeastWithinNighteye" download with 3.1 to have Night Eye in human form?
