That message in the book. It hit me right in the feels.

Oddly, I forgot all about the book and decided to read it in a playthrough where I was level 40 odd and hadn't done any of the main quest. It spurred me to stop the end of the world. Nothing like your past self yelling at you (which is an odd parallel in what the book was trying to do [an alternate you trying to help you to succeed where it had failed]).

You may be the only person to have read this book aside from myself. Nicely done.

Also do the valve wheels do anything?

Nah. The story goes that many functions were destroyed in the shift to your reality. The real reason is I made this mod to see how mods work. I had never made one before. I didn't know how to make them do anything.

I'm surprised people are still trying this mod out. It hasn't been updated in years. I hope you enjoy it despite its flaws.

Rondar1980 - Verify your game cache. it isn't the mod that's crashing your game. My version is downloaded from here. it works fine.

It crashes the game... even when I have just Apachi hair and the Havenites

Thanks for the endorsements. The current trend for followers seems to be anime looking plastic people. They're well done in their way but just aren't suited to my tastes. I'm glad I'm not alone in that.

Feedback is welcome. There are minor errors in the player home that no-one seems to mind so I haven't rectified them (tiny things like inset chests not being completely flush - I like the less than perfect look).

    1.3 Changes:

Fixed hairline seems in bedroom walls. You could see blue space between the floor and wall seam.

Added two general storage to enchantment room (4 really, chests are double sided).

Added illusory centurion statue (you can walk through it) to bare area.

Tweaked perks and spells. The followers are more developed now with greater variance. Nothing overpowered. Nus the walking mannequin had no spells or perks. I've added perks.

Changed Merryn's look to a more sultry appearance (she was flat before).

Rustdog: I removed all Havenite files from my PC and downloaded here using NMM. It worked fine.

The mod does rely on ApachiiSkyHair V1.4. Make sure you have that installed and that it is in your load order before this mod (it can be downloaded from here: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/10168/?tab=2&navtag=/ajax/modimages/?user=0|:|id=10168
It's worth having anyway. It's a brilliant mod and most follower mods use it).

As far as I know there aren't any other mods in this area so I don't know what could be conflicting with it. List your mods, either here or in private message and I'll see if any of them are conflicting. I currently have 94 plug ins with 58 mods and none of them conflict. You are likely using some that I'm not so it should be fairly easy to see what is causing the issue.

When did the game crash? When loading or on entering Haven?

Thanks Nermal. I was on the brink of pulling the mod.

I just went and checked the followers and Honey still had the greyface bug. I was fiddling around in the Ck before I checked in game, though, so this may not be the case in the download. Let me know if anything is amiss and I'll fix it.

Thanks for that Nermal_66. The meshes should be there now. There's a world of difference between making a mod and making it available. I appreciate your help. I've given you a rep point.

Thanks to all who downloaded and an endorsement dispute the greyface bug. It should work as intended now.

v_1_2 has a different file name (Havenites rather than Haven or HavenMain as in previous uploads). So if you used 1.0 or 1.1, go in game, remove your stuff and dismiss followers. Remove the earlier edition. Download v1.2. The grey face bug should be gone.

I noticed Falguire was submitting as she drew her weapon. That was funny at first but became a little annoying when she said it to a goat. I changed her from cautious to brave. She also wears Thalmor robes but doesn't use magic. I changed the Havenites quite a lot before uploading to Nexus. Some didn't make it (the twin elven sisters seemed blase now) and some were late entries (I would't have added Sedyr had I known how Dawnguard turned out). So if there's any incongruity, it's because the followers evolved over time and were created as is.

Because Haven is a single cell and there are 8 NPCs in the cell (2 are outside), I really don't want to add more to the abode. People's PCs will begin to explode. I'm happy to take suggestions for changes, though.

If using UFO, instruct your followers to forgive mistakes in battle (under the "You know..." heading). Otherwise, if the battle is fierce, because they use magic the Havenites will likely turn on each other. I still have to shout at them to stop fighting on occasion (it is the reason I set them all to essential rather than mortal. That and the fact that they level with you meant they were more likely to die at very low levels).

I originally had each follower with a complex AI schedule sending them to the Nightgate Inn and things. I came back to Haven one night and only one NPC was there. The rest had wandered off into the sunset, possibly saving the world. That seemed like they were taking my job so I left only the sandbox and sleeping AI packages. When dismissed they will return to Haven. Otherwise, they will moon about Haven sitting on benches and chests, making armour and looking at fish just waiting for you to take them out.

I haven't allocated beds. It surprised me that they use them completely randomly. Chani seems to like the doublebed. You may find you return home and 2 people are already in your bed. Just kick one or both of them out. If someone is already in a bed that another follower is using, they will just stand there until the other person gets up. I've seen all followers in beds that should have been (Sedyr sleeps during the day) and I've seen 4 people huddled over a single sleeping follower. I like the randomness.

I have no idea where the Thalmor come from. They will only be in the abode if you COC'd there in the first instance (In console type: COC Haven). Otherwise they will be at the shack. I certainly didn't intend to put them in. I couldn't get rid of them so I wrote them into the backstory (see the journal on the table).

If you are using Dawnguard and Sedyr (and all other vampires) appear as hideous, there is a fix. Look at Ipipkin's post for the solution:

It helped my vampire (see the screenshots in reply to Ipipkin).
