    the fact they gave us horkers and slaughter fish as well as enchants to  breath underwater and a race that also had the natural ability feels like it SHOULD of allowed water combat lol

      I would but I want to use FNIS and ZCBE is not compatible with it or anything that alters behavior files and I can't tell if the max compatibility version still has the underwater combat so I need an alternative to that any suggestions

    Bethesda doesnt even have proper animation for swimming backwards for skyrim, how much more for an underwayer fighting animations? Lol, poor argonians, i hope this will be fIxed in tes6

    why bethesda degrade their own on features since morrowind?? in morrowind, you can cast spell, at least using one handed weapon to attack that ugly race dreugh baby!! underwater combat is a must in ES 6 baby!!

    WHY IT DOES NOT WORK:

    In the Creation Kit, the author simply cleared the Don't Allow Combat In Water check box for each player race and saved the changes as a mod. Unfortunately, this simple change is not enough to allow any of the races to actually attack underwater.

    If anyone does figures out how to do this and is willing to share the knowledge, please let me know. I will gladly share anything I've created in my mods Skyrim here and at Steam, or do something else in return.

      Yes, it could be so cool, but come to think of it, it would need a pretty involved, co-ordinated package to work out. Animations and a custom speed and damage configurations come to mind, just for the simplest implementation.

      What about power moves... ok, you cant move and attack, maybe...

      But yes, it would be soo cool.

    I have a theory. I read somewhere that combat is disabled by jumping, because the jump animation conflicts with it. It could be that the same problem is happening with swimming. Has anyone tried installing this mod and disabling swimming animations? This might also explain why Bethesda left out underwater combat; they didn't want to spend the time and resources for a swimming variant of combat animations.

    doesn't work....a shame

    i guess alls we can do is slap a fire cloak on and cook any fishes that come nearby..

    I just installed the mod that had been looking for something, but when you start a new game and dive under the water and could not draw or attack, could you give me a solution? Thank you.
