i would really appreciate it if u would make a version that will actually make u go blind... i want to play the game just by using detect life, detect dead and clairvoyance... i know its a bit too much to ask for but i would really appreciate it... i cant deny that this is a pretty good mod... gj... oh and btw excuse my english... its not my native language

You have me intrigued. A blind playthrough suddenly sounds possible in the literal sense.

I don't suppose you could add an optional file of the boots without the blinding effect? As cool as this is, Skyrim isn't a flat surface, and I like not running into trees and rocks every 2 seconds.

You might as well just use the console to adjust your own speed at that point. This mod is a revival of some equipment from back in Morrowind, and modifying it to remove the only downside would defeat the purpose.

I barely ever used the boots of blinding speed on there own, I always used them with something else that enabled me to see otherwise I just crashed into everything. I was thinking that seeing as how there is no 1st person view on a horse maybe a blinding speed mod that you can see with would allow the racing car effect of speed in Skyrim. I loved the horses in oblivion cause it was a bit like a racing car with all the turns and things. Ended up using a motorbike by the end, but it wouldn't have the same effect in Skyrim cause its 3rd person.

I LOL'd when I put these on the first time Awesome job. Heads up tho, the effect is applied when Anyone equips them, including your follower.

Endorsed. The graphic effect is blinding, but not mind-bendingly dizzying. I like that.

Heads up though, I had these boots equipped on a mannequin and when I entered my house the graphic effect took place. I was using the Proudspire Manor Refurbished ENG-GER, so that might have had something to do with it, I have no idea, I know nothing about scripting. Just thought I'd say something.

Downloading! Maybe a pic of the "blindness" these boots cause? I LOVE items from previous games.

I seem to recall a Boots of the Apostle in Morrowind, levitation boots. Could you do those? maybe Skyrim won't allow flying per se, I'm not sure, but heck I'd be thrilled if equipping them added jumping height (as opposed to a mod that alters base jumping height all the time, I'd rather it be an enchantment than an unrealistic cheat tweak).
