I'm using the version of this mod on the creation club (since this version wouldn't work with SSE). I'm able to drop the Rusty Mace, but there's no quest update of any kind, and I can't leave the house or progress the quest at all unless I pick it back up and beat up Logrolf. I can't imagine another mod is conflicting with it, and searching I don't see anyone else report this issue--does anyone have a recommendation?
This has been available for SE for years. Since SE released, actually. It's just on Bethesda.net because I was feeling lazy and didn't want to upload two places.
So, after I drop the mace the, cage doesn't open up and Logrolf doesn't run away. As a result, the quest is still set to beating Logrolf even though the notification of me disobeying molag bal pops up. To me its not exactly a big problem considering I can just use the setstage command, but I don't know what stage to set it to. So, does anyone know all the stages of the mod or just how to find stages of a quest?
Very late reply, but in case anyone else comes across this in the future, this also happened to me (got the notification after dropping the mace but Logrolf wasn't released and quest didn't update) and once I went to a shrine of Stendarr to remove the curse it also auto-completed the quest as well.
I do like this mod it's better than JaySerpa's because his version is very buggy and One thing that is ignored quite alot by players is that this old man is a Boethiah Follower so he doesn't count as an innocent bystander.
