    Still my favourite ENB after all these years... wish the author would randomly come back one day and see his ENB is still loved and updates it. <3 <3 <3

    Been trying all kinds of pretty ENBs but this one has always been my absolute favourite.
    When there was much stuff I liked in the other combined ENB and weather mods, there was also some things I could not stand in them...some were washed out, too much contrast, not enough contrast, too saturated, whiteout effect on some textures during certain weathers...take your pick.
    Can't find the medium between all of them to satisfy my need. Except for this one. There was never anything that was wrong or felt out of place. No more need to trying to tweak further trying to get the look I want because - look! There it is! There it always was! Everything is perfect!

    Thank you for making an ENB I love and always keep coming back to.

    Yup... still wishing the author would come back and renew this ENB. It is still my favourite of them all and there is no other ENB like this one. I looked and tried so many.......... none even come close.No people, Bleak ENB does not look like this one. At all. I tried Bleak and I didn't care for it.

    The only reason I am not able to use this ENB anymore is because of the massive amounts of texture overhauls I have, I need the ENB boost in the newer versions of ENBs. I did just update the ENB file itself to a newer version, but it doesn't fully give off the same effects as this ENB is in the older versions.

    Although... I did just build myself a new computer in July. Perhaps I will have a go at this ENB again when next I do another play through.

    This will always be my favourite ENB. I will forever love this ENB.

    This is, and will forever remain, my favorite ENB. The "lights blind you in darkness"-effect is actually something that makes for a cool mechanic and is realistic as well, your immediate surroundings will be brighter but stuff beyond you will become impossible to see. This effect occurs in real life as well and I don't know if this was an accident on the mods part, it is a happy accident for me. Keep those night vision spells handy people or you will forever walk into walls!

    I'm having a problem, the outer and inner shadows twinkle, become darker and then lighter. I use Relighting and already tried to uninstall it. Sorry for my english

      I'm not sure if this will help at all, but you can try using the normal adaptation in the enbseries.ini file.

      [ADAPTATION]
      ForceMinMaxValues=false
      AdaptationSensitivity=0.2
      AdaptationTime=0.4
      AdaptationMin=0.1
      AdaptationMax=20.0

      The enbseries.ini under [EFFECT] should say: EnableDepthOfField=false. This will turn off DoF.

    Me again ! Im still using this wonderful preset. Im now using Winterheart with ENB 265 and it works great, however it could do with a little sharpening, I dont know why as Im not at all tech minded, but using the 265 ENB softens this preset a little. Could anyone tell me what I would need to change in my enb files to sharpen the overall image ? Thanks !

      Heya, I'm not going to be much help since it has been so long since I edited ENB or even played Skyrim and I can't remember how it all works. But, possibly the easiest way to add sharpening might be to add this to your ENB setup: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50638/?

      I don't know if its the best way of doing it, but it certainly is simple.

      Nice to hear from you. :-) Okay I will take a look at that mod now, thanks ! Your enb presets were always unique and that is something sorely missing from Nexus lately.

      I noticed that too when I was using this awhile ago. I think I was able to "almost" fix it. It was still just slightly blurry, not sure. I can look into this for you, if you give me time. I have a lot of work right now, but perhaps next weekend.

    *cries*

    I still love this ENB sssooooo much. It's still my favourite after all this time. I'm sick of using RealVision. I'm going to try that Grim and Somber since it should be more dark and gloomy. But THIS ENB... best dark and gloomy ENB EVAR!

    I wish you would come back and re-learn how to do this ENB and update it!

    *cries in the corner*

    This has nothing to do with gaming/Skyrim but I haven't done martial arts in years. I got back into it some time ago and have been training in Shaolin Kung Fu... now..... now I'm my Shifu's assistant! I'm helping teach the adults and he's training me to teach the children. I'm just saying... it might be good to go back to something. Especially if you loved doing it before. Well, I hope you did anyway. XD

    Who knows. Maybe this ENB could be the next file of the month! Cause I think a lot of people are tired of bright and fancy ENB's that blind you with their overwhelming sun rays!

    Well lets rejuvinate this thread ! I recently upgraded my PC and I have been dabbling with a lot of different ENBs. Every single one failed in something - too vibrant, too dark, too bright, too much DOF, FPS decrease etc; But I have no idea why, but this ENB does not touch my FPS whatsoever ! I realise its an older version, but the lighting is perfect, the DOF is perfect - I cannot fault this ENB on my PC. I have actually been a fan of this work since it was first released so to get it functioning on my PC now is wonderful. Other ENB mods try to acheive what this one does perfectly.

    Which lighting mod (for internal lighting) works well with Winterheart II ?

    Ive tried RLO, but it tends to push contrast to extremes with this mod.

      I use ELFX. Everything looks okay to me. I did adjust the nighttime a bit myself when I used this ENB, but the default was fine as well. Should work fine with CoT nights and ELFX as well.
