this mod broke or something???? i have tried completely deleting it and reinstalling and it doesnt change the fact that i can buy a safe from the bank but cant unlock the door to get to the safe with the key to the door on me!!!!!! its frustrating as hell because i like the mod alot but no point in having a building that is completely useless.
Its a bit late now, but I figured it out. You should check out Gopher's video on "Load Order Troubleshooting" on youtube. What broke skyrim for me was the dual sheath redux patcher.
I like this mod, namely the ability to find savings and clutter items in inventories. However, like DeviousHarp and C4M3R0N808 have mentioned, this mod is a bit ambitious with not enough depth in it's functions. Overall, still enjoyable nonetheless.
My opinion is: Would not recommend this mod to people who don't want an overhaul of the gold drop system, because essentially this is what it does. Gold becomes ludicrously easy to obtain- One can find about 500 gold on a bandit about 40% of the time, meaning a dungeon run can earn you about 2-3k gold on average. Furthermore, the clutter added into the loot pool does eventually become somewhat annoying as it adds unobtainable and useless items.
Also, I have problems uninstalling this mod. When I delete the .bsa and .esp and try to launch the game I get CTD after the Bethesda logo. Currently trying to fix to no avail, am probably better off just leaving it on.
EDIT:I fixed it. Used TESVedit and Golpher's video to work it out, turns out it was the patcher for dual sheath redux that would cause CTD.
Overall, oratchicat, I am eager to see how you will progress on this mod as it has alot of potential! Please continue developing this mod!
why does this mod edit and change almost everything in the game? i checked with TESVedit and the damage of every arrow has been increased by 5. The armor values have been changed. unusable lockpicks have been added to the leveled lists in massive quantities. Gold has even been renamed to gold coins. the value of almost every item in the game has been adjusted, often from 0 to 1. why? why have you edited so much for no reason? Is all of this necessary in a mod that is supposed to allow you to buy whiterun?
Im removing this mod until all of these edits get fixed. they mess up the game. almost every corpse has 50 to 200 lockpicks that cant even be used to pick locks. Really, how is that needed?
aside from all of this, you have a brilliant idea with this mod. but the useless extra is exactly that, useless. A great mod does one thing well and leaves everything else alone. that way the player can mod the rest as he sees fit, without unnecessary conflict.
i mean all of this as constructive criticism and fair warning to the next guy to see this. thanks for your time, and i hope you continue your work on this mod. i'll be keeping my eye on this to see if it ever gets improved
Yes thank you for the heads up C4M3ROM808, it helps with the desision. I also really hope the author looks at this and does some changes, as it sounds like a great idea, taken a little far.
I found this mod on GEMS but I allways read DESC and comments and im glad I did thank you for your comment and kudos im glad I didn't download this mod
Pfew, thanks to make this clear. He also could say in he's description if it is meant for only skyrim or other dlc's (i read the whole article and recognised features from other dlc's, so it is clear for me now, just for quick referencing). On the other hand i think he has changed way to much for reasons that other's have said already.
I quit playing skyrim for a while, and now returned to the game and was looking for mods. i decided to stop by this mod again to see how the progress had went on it. while i expected my comment to cause some people to shy away from this mod, i never expected to get such an array of thank you's for warning people. So everyone that has seen my initial comment and used it to decide on this mod and then thanked me for it, you are all welcome.
I have high hopes for future versions of this mod that the author has mentioned

I realize we must not to change too much and deviate from the initiative of the mod.
Thank you again, I will create O_G BuyTamriel version 2 (still under construction) The mod will be created in English (primarily). The mod will expand the area to purchase in all cities. It does not however change the other basic caracteristics (to ensure good portability) they will be available as plugins .
But there will be additions of items and quests. A new start suggesting a new game. It will also be possible to reach the main quest. Mansions and castles will be added. And more...
This is a good mod. It opens some new areas, new ways of thinking and brings home a lot of gold to the player. What I miss are comments from people of Skyrim, like; "I hear you have invested in my shop, that is very welcome in these troubled times"! The mod has become more of a "LoneWolf-thing". I like the people (NPC's) to comment on my progression in the game. I like to be a hero, no matter what road I choose.
All you writers and scripters out there: Start offering your services to non-writing/scripting people (like me :-) Hope you all continue your fabulous work!
This is a great idea for a mod, but it sounds like you need to streamline it and focus on the real estate, business, and earning titles portion and get rid a lot of the unrelated changes you made. The wider the array of your changes, the more likely this mod is to conflict with other mods.
After a bit of testing it has been confirmed that is mod is the cause of my bug. When using this mod I cant get pass the keep in helgen at the start of the game. where the dragon blasts thru the wall and you jump thru to the inn. So I cant comment on the rest of the mod.
