Just a small suggestion: instead of people having to play for hours or look it up on Google in order to find it, maybe you could add a book to the game, maybe located in Dragonsreach, hinting towards the location of it?
Also, is there an enchantment on it? And if so, what?
I love this weapon. The simplicity of the weapon model and the effect it gives off yields a great combination, but I wonder why there's just one of its type. Is there any chance for a series of weapons with this style in the future? I'd love to see swords, small maces and bows of this style.
@urwy That one picture where the effect doesn't load nicely it almost looks like a perfect circle. It make me think of a circular saw blade and wondered if it would be possible to integrate it by replacing the white circle with an actual saw blade.

And a little update on the next mod:
My resource will receive 4 new ring models. And the mod i'll build around it will have 3 of these rings as "minor" rings, each representing an element, while the 4th is a "major" ring which can be obtained by fusing the 3 minor rings. Still undecided what element or visual effect's it'll use.
When the Elemental rings mod is complete, ill start merging the previous scavenger hunts and putting it all on 1 page. That should keep things organised. (though that'll mean no more front page for my mods =( )
im a nubcake...ill never be able to find this weapon but i gues thats part of the thrill just hopin ill find the area...i dunno much about locations and the tips dont help me because im retarded lol

At first I was thinking it was a staff but then got confused when you mentioned it being able to be upgraded at a grindstone.
