SE version of the mod just got updated to version 4.0 Unfortunatly I won't be updating the LE version anymore. This version will remain on the Nexus as-is, but won't receive any more support or updates.
Any chance someone will take over updating this for LE? Or perhaps make a patch so weapons from this mod will be visible in left hand when using mods like All Geared Up?
Edit: am I the only one who's missing weapons for imperials? There's only vanilla swords and bows avaialble, I had this running with Heavy Legion, but even deleting that mod and reinstalling this didn't let me craft or spawn Imperial weapons
Hey, I decided lately I need to make more posts praising mods. Normally I only comment if there's some practical use to it (like reporting bugs or asking about compatibility). However, now I think that makes me look whiny.
Despite my comment here from 2 years ago, I've always seen this as my favorite weapon mod. I like how its compatible out of the box with all re-textures, which puts it above Immersive Weapons in my book. Also, I like how it fills out the weapon sets that are missing, and has a far more coherent theme to it. This is in contrast with Immersive Weapons which just adds a bunch of random stuff to the game. I also like how it has a compatibility patch to add more fitting animations to the new weapons. In particular, for some reason I always liked the tridents. Regarding animations, the only fault I find with it is I don't think rapier animations suit short spears so well, but eh, the patch is still worth using despite this minor fault. Of course, this does make it incompatible with mods that add in new attacking animations, like ultimate combat, but honestly it seems few combat mods have this issue. Besides, the mod itself has no issues; they only come about if you use the animated armory patch, so technically that issue's on animated armory, not this mod.
I just wanted to express my appreciation for this mod; its honestly one of the few mods I wish I could endorse more than once.
can people strop adding polearms to this game, there are no animations for them... sick of shitty mods with their spears swinging like axes, add the animations or dont bother... or at least link us to a compatible animations mod. Uninstalled immersive weapons cause the moron adds spears and thinks it is ok for them to swing like axes, lazy s#*!
Chillout out dude, neither of this people is to blame for your personal problems. Address your real life issues before taking it out on those who have done nothing to you personally.
all you people telling him to chill out, chill out. Modding is about player choice, and yet so many mods force people to make choices they do NOT want while they could just as easily split the mod and let people CHOOSE to have polearms or not. Addressing this legitimate criticism is actually helpful.
Hey, amazing mod... lovely work, thank you very much... dont suppose you wanna add in high level clubs any time do you? Theyre the business but cant keep using em past a point

Second, Animated Armoury is a thing. Go get it.
It has stab and sweep animations, suitable for both swords and spears.
