Mastata - do you have any idea why this mod is replacing the Daedric sword model with the Vicious sword? Would you be able to fix this?
In response to post #7141765. #7747952 is also a reply to the same post.
If you know how to use CK, to fix this, you have to duplicate the first person view of the vicious sword, save, then reload the mod after having disable the loading of the first person view of the vicious sword and the daedric sword in the ck, so the daedric sword get back his vanilla first person model and the edits on daedric sword are not loaded, and then the duplicate version could be used for the vicous sword. Save again, it should be ok, now.
Thank you! But I think your instructions are a bit too complicated. Basically it is very easy and everyone should be able to do this with little effort:
Backup the original .esp from Mastata in case you mess up.
Load the mod as active file in the CK.
In the object window: set filter for "1stPersonVic" and go to *All.
RMB on the Entry for the Vicious Dawnbreaker: "1stPersonViciousDawnbreaker". (This actually replaced the 1st person model of the original Daedric Sword, as you can see in TESVEdit. Or check the Form ID, it is the same as the one for the 1st person model from the daedric sword (0005ff33).) Duplicate this.
You now have two entries for the Vicious Dawnbreaker: the original "1stPersonViciousDawnbreaker" and the dubplicate "1stPersonViciousDawnbreakerDUPLICATE001". Save.
Restart the CK.
Choose load and make sure viciousdawnbreaker.esp is activated and set as active file. In the loading window single click on the viciousdawnbreaker.esp and then click on "Details...".
You will see all changes the plugin does. Select the entry "1stPersonViciousDawnbreaker" and hit the delete button on your keyboard. Accept the message. This change now is ignored, so the CK will load up the 1st person model for the daedric sword instead of the one wich replaced it. Click close and then OK to load the plugin once again.
Set your filter again to "1stPersonVic" and navigate to *All. You'll see that the original 1stPersonViciousDawnbreaker is gone. Double click on it and rename it to "1stPersonViciousDawnbreaker". Hit OK. Two messages will come up. The first one you have to click NO and the second one YES. (No you do not wish to create a new Form ID and yes you are sure.)
Set the filter to "ViciousDawnbreaker" and double click on the exact same item. This is the weapon you'll see in game. Click on "Art and Sound".
For "1st Person Model Oject" now choose "1stPersonViciousDawnbreaker" and click OK.
Now it's time to clean up the mess: set your filter to "DaedricSword". A lot of entries show up. Make sure you double click on the weapon DaedricSword and nothing else. (BTW: As you see, the Form ID for the restored "1stPersonDaedricSword" is 0005ff33. The final proof.)
Now change the 1st Person Model Object to "1stPersonDaedricSword" and hit okay.
Save and restart the CK.
Click on load, set the viciousdawnbreaker.esp as active file. Select the plugin and click on "Details...". Select "1stPersonDaedricSwordDUPLICATE001" and then the delete key to ignore the change. Accept the message and load the plugin.
Save it and you are done.
Optional: The plugin file now is fixed and the Daedric sword is normal. This results in dirty edits. Consider cleaning the plugin using TES5. (There are a lot of TES5 cleaning guides.) It should be safe.
In the original mod, there is a strange bug making the first person view model for the vicious sword to have the same Form ID than the first person view model of the daedric sword For the game, they are the same object and get mixed together. The author of the original mod seems to have tried some edit on the daedric sword to fix this but it didn't succeed.

so, i do get the floating ball with the bastard sword only, wondering if its a dual sheath conflict. the swords work fine, no floating ball. and the dagger works fine also, however, i edited the mesh to show both daggers on dual sheath, and had a floating ball on the left dagger. even after deleting all textures and meshes, doing a manual unistall of the 2 mods, then reinstalling. it still happens. i will try to see if i can get into the mesh and see, its almost like the original gizmodian glow was moved from its origin, but not removed completely (after the removal and reinstall, i no longer thing its a mod conflict)
Hey I just downloaded this mod but when I created the weapon it appears that the colors don't match the ones of the pictures. Both swords and the dagger are completely white while the design encasing the orb and the orb itself are both a light sky blue color. What did I do wrong? (DL'd through NMM)
@ Mastata: me again, sorry! Need your advice - I pulled a stunt here and managed to uninstall a lot of Workshop's mods and install their Nexus' versions without losing anything at all from my inventory or any other add-ons. Just one slight pb: even though I now have the Nexus version of Mystic Hybrid and your fix, Steam still thinks it comes from the Workshop (no such pb with any other of a good dozen other Nexus mods, even tho' their files have the same names as their Workshop's versions). But every time I open the launcher, it rechecks Mystic as unsubbed. Any idea how I could get around this? I suppose renaming the files would be a terrible dumb idea... I can always uninstall and reinstall every time I go online - but one day, I'm sure to forget. Many thanks in advance for any tip you might offer!.. Cheers!
Hey Mastata!.. Merci mille fois pour le fix!.. (ça fait bizarre comme expression en français... ;0)) - okay, thanks a LOT for the FIX, yeap it does work with the Workshop version of the mod provided you play Offline and unsubscribed - thanks for the tip!.. Took me a while to actually try it as I was right in the middle of a raging battle against Steam (it's a bit like the Thalmors, don't you think? Except you can't kill it, Bethesda set it as essential... sigh!...). So Steam unchecked your mods, hey? With me, it's started re-downloading all of my Worshop mods whenever I launched the game and completely messed up my load order every time!.. Ate up a good hour off my playtime each time!.. Drove me crazy!.. Most of my mods are from the Nexus anyway, but I've nonetheless started unsubbing from my Worshop mods so I guess I'll be downloading the Nexus version of Hybrid's Vicious weapons pretty soon. Thanks again, Mastata, for the mod and for your advice. Cheers from a "compatriote" :0)

edit:nvm, im stupid
I don't really know, sorry
@AceofRedSpades:
You probably didn't download the original mod like instructed on the description page.
