Hello Everyone, thanks for enjoying this ENB and for your support!!
My apologies if your comment hasn't been answered. New projects have been planned for quite some time (Skyrim and various games), and I'm not sure if/when I'll get around to updating this ENB. Please accept it as is for now, the game still looks great, in my opinion.
(Future developments can be seen on my Flickr page.)
***RE-Uploaded Depth of Field options UPDATE 4! This includes the new "Soulwynd Enhanced DOF". Which is a heavily modified and partially rewritten DOF code based off the Auto Focus DOF, and includes a variety of Bokeh effects, D-N-I separation, GUI functionality, and more! (Thanks Soulwynd)
**NOTE: I can't promise any future updates or replies to the comments at this time due to real life commitments.
Interior lighting mod compatibility: _____________________________
All presets are compatible with ELFX (interiors only), Relighting Skyrim, and More Dynamic Shadows.
ELE - Interior Lighting is optional, and the compatibility files for it can be found in the "Updates" section (files for the "fantasy" preset are not included at this time). The ELE - Interior Lighting module(s) should be used in conjunction with ELFX (interiors only, without the enhancer), Relighting Skyrim, More Dynamic Shadows, and RLO (interiors only). Choose one, and load the ELE - Interior Lighting last in your load order!!!
Note for RLO users: Open enbseries.ini and set this parameter. PointLightingDesaturationInteriorDay/Night= (add 0.25 to this value)
Regardless of what the CoT mod page says, DO NOT set ForceFakeVideocard=true in enbseries.ini. That should only be set to "true" when using 3D stereoscopic graphics through your drivers.
When Temporal AA is enabled and the enb_reference helper mod is in use, there will be a brief LOD discrepancy, and some ghosting may occur frequently due to the TAA bug.
There is a common issue with the appearance of shadows when they're set to "Ultra" in the SkyrimLauncher options. Open SkyrimPrefs.ini and use this setting:
iBlurDeferredShadowMask=5
Other issues that you may experience are likely related to either faulty video drivers, or mod conflicts on your end. Please think about this first before posting your comment here. Thank you.
SweetFX is included with my ENB presets and is not compatible with newer Windows OS versions (eg. Win10). Please remove these objects from your game directory (where TESV.exe is located).
SweetFX folder d3d9.fx (not the dll file) d3d9injFX.dll dxgi.dll dxgi.fx injector.ini SweetFX.txt files (harmless files on their own)
To adjust the sharpening of the image, open effect.txt and look for this line:
float SharpeningAmount=1.2
(Try a value of 2.0, or higher if you have TAA enabled in enblocal.ini.)
THANKS FOR YOUR PATIENCE! I WILL UPDATE THIS MOD IN THE NEAR FUTURE!
Did this game change my resolution to 4k or something? Steam overlay (and cursor inside it) is TINY and the game runs like ass. How do I change it back to 1080p?
ENBs do not handle or change resolution, you can find every setting for the preset in the enblocal.ini file located in your Skyrim directory (togheter with TESV.exe). Check your Skyrimprefs.ini under [DISPLAY] for resolution. If you are playing in 1080p you should have "iSize H=1080 iSize W=1920".
Excellent work guys. Being my first ENB I have ever installed, I managed to get Project ENB up and running in an afternoon. The instruction video is very helpful. I also found https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKz2WVC-ezw done by Ai Elias very descriptive with folder management and how to find them. Excellent ENB mod, great job!
Hey, for quite some time i am struggling to get ENB working, hope you can help me by providing a install guide and download guide please, thank you very much
current game: Skyrim Legenday Edition MMO2 PC Specs: CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU 650 @ 3.20GHz Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 630 1GB Vram Ram: 14GB Motherboard: Mercer Pegatron IPMIP-GS
Hey, having a strange kind of issue and I don't want to be drowned out by those who didn't read the instructions.
On startup, the ENB casts the overlay in the main menu, suggesting it's working with no errors or warnings, but then I see no visual difference ingame, and I have bFloatPointRenderTarget set to 1.
I also cannot open the GUI, nor does shift f12 seem to do anything. I have checked my bindings in enblocal and everything suggests it's working fine.
Someone mentioned "enabling" the gui in the console, but was very vague, and I am left blank again. I'm new to using an ENB, and I don't know if I've misunderstood everything after the thirty forums I've sought for help in, or if I actually messed something up.
It's very infuriating; all the CoOl kIDS use ENBs.
hey buddy, as a person whos used ENB's for Skyrim for years now, ive also been having issue with it not working properly. exact same problem. honestly if i was you, if youre still having issues and just want an ENB. i would suggest giving RealVision ENB a try. it has hands down the most popularity, downloads, and endorsements for a reason. not only does it look very sharp and good, it also is hands down one of the easiest to load up. its completely nexus vortex downloadable, and the RV launcher system is very professionally set up and virtually full proof when you follow the instructions on using it. its probly why its so popular because its one of the only ENB's ive seen where they took the time to properly impliment it in a way where a normal person who hasnt programed files for half his life can learn how to use.
i dont feel its appropriate to promote a different ENB on someone elses ENB mod post like this, but he hasnt responded you and literally 2 months so clearly he hasnt cared enough to check in on this kind of stuff which in my opinion kinda loses his right to be upset about this.
UPDATE: so i think i figured out what the deal was with at least my setup and going to let you know in the small chance you made the same mistake... when youre picking which performance options youll extract (for example i chose the full graphics mode), you dont want to just extract that folder itself. you need to actually go INSIDE that folder, and then extract its contents to your skyrim folder. and overwrite when asked. this definitely had an affect in game for me. hope that helps you.
Hello! Just installed this ENB follwing the description that was provided, most things looks amazing and in order. But in dungeons and other interiors, the light that comes in from windows and ceilings and also torches and fires in general seems very over-exposed if you would and this happened when I installed Project ENB. It doesn't cause me any performance loss or anything, still running the game at 80 - 100 FPS, but it's getting very annoying to look at. I am feeling that there is one or several conflicts somewhere. I just do not know what these are. =3=
Can someone help me? Im getting massive frame drops with this enb. I don't get them with any others. I followed the instructions and deleted the no good files that it said to delete and everything. Im not talking like 15 fps either. More like 1 fps. with every other enb i try i get close to 60 fps.
I had the same problem. I just had to delete it, which fixed a lot of my issue. Please note: You have to delete more than he says in the instructions. Just basically delete everything you moved over (read the instructions and delete everything instead of moving it).

Enjoy!
Open enblocal.ini and set VideoMemorySizeMb=
Use this tool for the best results VRamSizeTest tool
It will tell you what value to use for the VideoMemorySizeMb section of the enblocal.ini
Some of you may need to change the other parameters under the [MEMORY] category in enblocal.ini.

For additional stability and avoidance of CTD and ILS issues, I recommend the following option below:
Sheson Memory Patch Overview (informational, see below for mods to install)
Stability increasing mods:
Stable uGridsToLoad
SSME - Skyrim Startup Memory Editor (This will implement Sheson's memory patch).
Regardless of what the CoT mod page says, DO NOT set ForceFakeVideocard=true in enbseries.ini.

The CoT presets require EVERYTHING in the Data folder.

For non-CoT users, try my other ENB's:
True Vision ENB
Seasons of Skyrim ENB
