I know it's an old mod, but why not make Soul Gems from that strange ore you can sometimes find, it's even called something like 'soul node' or whatnot.
I like the idea but didn't download because the recipe for black soul gems doesn't make sense imho; why would I want to use a grand soul in order to make a grand soul container? If you could fix this I'll download,
Now I can feel like a boss when I return to my home with those previously useless soul gem fragments. No more are they just for looks, because now they actually have a practical purpose. I'm going to enjoy how much this will add to my immersion when I go places to gather ingredients for things I want to make.
Hi. This is the first time i'm using your mod and everything works as it should (i think) haven't had it installed for that long. Only one thing, the description says. Black Soul Gems: 10 Soulgem Fragments and a filled greater or grand soul gem.
But for me in game, it says it requires: 2 Human Flesh and either a filled or empty grand soul gem. This a bug or a conflict or something?
i'm not sure if it is just me or if your latest version was updated to remove them but at the moment in whiteruns blacksmith area black soul gem isnt even an option.... i actually tested it to an extent by going to buy a filled grand gem and then gathering 20 soul fragments just in case that might get it to show but it was a no go... i really would like to know if i am doing something wrong since i always seem to have thugs after me
hey reeeally want this mod, look coolz, but having trouble getting it to download, keep failing on Mod manager and when i try manualy it sais error on site! Nuuuuu! will it fix its self? not sure if its a site thing so thought id comment anyway.
This mod is exactly what I need. The lore says you need grand soul gems to aquire black soul gems via ritual at night ( casting soult trap on an altar "containing" grand soul gems at night - Its called soul gem corruption ) - but making them craftable now makes completely sense. 300 Years have been passed afterall and higher knowledge has been gained. Well, you COULD make it that way that black soul gems would be only craftable at night but I think its not necessary.
@torxe Its greater or grand, I just put grand in so that if you had that available you could use it, but it is mainly the greater soul gem part. Maybe I will release a new version that only accepts greater soul gems.
