I wasn't sure what to expect, as this mod hasn't been touched in 2 years. But I was pleased to discover that Wanderers Nook holds up surprisingly well against competition from younger mods utilizing all the fancy newer resources. It's a nice looking place with noble decor, a sensible layout, and all the standard amenities - including a kitchen, bathing room, library, and attractive enchant/alchemy room. It should have a lot more endorsements than it does, and I'll definitely be adding mine.
As far as I'm concerned it only suffers from 2 major flaws. 1) The place feels too big for 1-2 characters. I realize that not everyone wants to invite followers to live with them, but with 6 large rooms to spread out in it seems like a shame not to have the option. 2) The entrance is very inconvenient - a door on the outer NE side of Windhelm's wall. While placing the door outside of town keeps the mod compatible with everything that alters Windhelm's interior, having a house in a major city that requires two loading screens and some fast travel to get inside the actual town is a real pain. A solution would be to add a door in the library that exits to Windhelm via a wall in the passageway east of the Palace of Kings that leads to the Grey Quarter. That passage is a spot that modders usually don't tinker with.
Looking forward to trying out this house. I don't have one yet and am 'auditioning' for my first. It seems to have all I am looking for. Thanks for uploading good pics and information to help with my decision. I'm off to install now Will try to make it back soon with feedback.
Yes, it may be, but many people track files they are undecided on so they can check them out later. Others get bored with particular mods and go back through the archives to see what they may have missed.
Your work is great and I encourage you to do more!
Draemonx - all the displays and plaques are working correctly ingame for me and I also tested them individually with multiple weapon types before uploading the mod. At this stage I am unsure why they are not working for you sorry.
Thanks Kalpon777, glad you like it! Those alchemy satchels are mainly there for show as I don't actually use them. They don't work due to the close proximity to the alchemy table, but if you like I can upload an additional patch file to move them down the opposite end where they can be accessed.

And it's situated in the cold! Perfect.
I'll be sure to test this out thoroughly soon.
