Very VERY nice! I've been thinking since I started playing that the whole environment could really use some higher saturation values but had no clue how to do that. It's subtle but perfect!
nice try but no cigar here. I tried the first version and the middle option, but it seemed to make everything darker or more blue and less real. I can get the same effect by tweaking my monitor controls. I bet this looks great on cheaper TN monitors, but my IPS monitor displays things too accurately already.
Install whichever version, and overwrite the settings file. About the three versions, I enhanced the colors as much as I could before I felt it affected the visuals too much. Again, its very subtle but I wanted to maximize color as much as I could without changing the feel of the original game , which is supposed to be rugged and harsh.
The middle option is my personal pick because it enhances the colors as much as possible without taking away the original feel.
If you want to experiment, simply change the saturation setting under TONEMAP to another value. Version 1 is at 75, Vers. 2 is at 81 and Vers 3 is at 79.
I don't really see much of a difference between the 3 versions. How do I install the FXAA Post Process Injector correctly? Does it matter which setting I choose during the installation or is it regardless since your file changes the settings anyway???
