I am curious why come races have "Bonus Attributes" and others don't. Was this your choice, or is it yet one more thing about Skyrim that I am destined to never understand?
Altmer have +50 magicka in vanilla Skyrim. I chose to give Bretons +20 magicka to better reflect their given stats in the older games. Honestly not sold on the +20 health to Orcs, although it does suit them.
Just seen this mod and looks GREAT! Finally something like the old Oblivion/Morrowind days. Although i do have on suggestion: Change the Nord Light Armor and Speech to Heavy Armor and Restoration like in Oblivion. Furthermore great mod!
Speech makes sense in the context of Skyrim (the word of a Nord would carry more weight in their homeland), there are also several perk mods that use Speech as the shout skill. I considered Heavy Armor, but settled to not change the Light Armor proficiency; being used to leather and fur armor makes sense when you live in a subarctic climate. However an argument could be made for removing Speech in favor of Heavy Armor. Restoration is somewhat of an oddball as it only showed up in Oblivion, and I can't see any specific reason for why Nords would be particularly skilled in this type of magic (or any magic at all, really).
A must have mod for anyone who has played previous Elder Scroll games. Skyrim changed the passive stats and abilities far to much from what they should have been and this mod fixes the problem entirely. Thank you for your hard work on this wonderful mod!
Resist Magic for Bretons was reduced to keep it in line with the other races. In vanilla Skyrim it's already the prime powergaming choice and increasing the resist bonus to ~50% would just be silly. Bretons are still the best choice for a defensive magic focused character, just not the only choice for any kind of character.
Simply changing every and all traits to be exactly as in the previous games wouldn't work; Skyrim uses a slimmed down attribute system and the value of almost all ratings (armor, damage etc.) are different.
