i like tarya, she is a good follower. but im having a problem. i have a follower mod, that sets residence. whenever i go to change hers, and dismiss her, she heads back to the cave, she wont stay where i put her.
She should. She doesn`t functionally differ from vanilla NPC. There is a bug - when you immidiately after wedding move your spouse to your own house you won`t get this bonus (with vanilla NPCs also!) After wedding you should talk to your sweetheart and you will be asked where are you going to live. I recommend you first visit the spouse "home" find there the place to sleep ( i guess there are some bandit`s sleeping places in Silverdrift lair) and have a happy hot night))) I think you`ll solve the problem
PS I`ve checked up the bug marrying another my companion (Sonya) Everything works perfect. I`ve got the Lover`s Comfort bonus
Sorry, I don't want to appear to be nagging you overmuch, but...
Tarya as a spouse did not seem to give the "Lover's Comfort" benefit like a regular marriageable NPCs. In fact that's the primary reason my character got married, it's a nice bonus, especially at higher level where it takes longer to level up.
What is Tarya's ID? As usual, Skyrim forcibly changed my follower, as it often likes to do, in the course of some quest. Now she's nowhere to be found.
Never mind. I found her waiting in Breezehome. Didn't occur to me to look for her there, I've never told her to move there (as she's just a follower, not a lover), and her "home" is in Silverdrift cave, right?
Thank you. I've solved the look issue. Somehow the "temptress race" mod is affecting the looks. Uninstalling then reinstalling it again fixes the problem. Now Tarya looks like as she should. Still won't ride horses, though... I've used the Wrye Bash to create a merged patch, BTW.

Yeah you may find her in Silverdrift lair once again after dismissing
