Wish I'd found this 6 months ago, would've saved me a whole heap of time with how often I use showracemenu and have to name my character every single time and reapply all the tints (Skyrim SE bugs). BSA needs extracting for it work in SE, but so far it has been flawless.
Hi, can you explain me what is the difference with ShowRaceMenu Alternative? I mean, i know that they are different but this add more sliders or what ?
Neither this nor the alternative you linked add extra sliders. They both invoke showracemenu, however, this mod invokes the limited version of showracemenu, akin to the Riften Face Sculptor.
From a Skyrim SE point of view, the pros and cons of this are: 1. makeup tints don't get reset (Skyrim SE bug) 2. you don't have to enter a name and start a new save every single time 3. provides a neutral, well lit environement with no animated distractions getting in the way
Cons: 1. Can't rename your character 2. Can't change race
The cons can be overcome by using showracemenu / setplayerrace console commands, so not particularly devastating drawbacks.
I host a SE port of this mod under misc files here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/7945/?
I'm not sure why, but every time I use the amulet the Race Menu freezes, sometimes requiring a computer restart (via power button). Speaking to the man in Solitude works though.
I have been having other freezing problems with Skyrim, so perhaps this is merely part of that.
I have heard that SG hairs add so many diffrent well "hairs" that it can sometimes freeze or crash your game and remember seeing a mod fix for this somewhere, try googling around nexus. or i can be talking outta my ass, I tend to like doing both hehe.
I am here because the (showracemenu) started annoying me when it was ripping the game itself apart... I mean my levels went insane and i could not train one handed skills and so on... So this does not have the same issue? Please tell me it doesn't...
Thanks - this is a great mod, which I used for the first time today; so much better than using the console. I having only one small problem with it though - for some reason, when I load a saved game, it reverts back to the hair style I had before I used the mod for the first time, but it is saving all the other edits I made without any problem. The hairstyle I changed from was from Apachii v1.5 & the hairstyle I changed to that doesn't get saved is from the Apachii add on pack v1.3. Am I doing anything wrong to cause this? Thank you in advance.
EDIT: Fixed it! It seems a complete exit of the game to desktop saved all changes including hairstyle.
I did not document it elsewhere, but I also added the Unbalanced tag to this. My reasoning is that Bethesda, when they added this to whichever of the dlc it's in ( I confuse them.) decided to charge a LOT more gold for their plastic surgery in the Ragged Flagon than what the NPC in my mod charges for his 'haircut'.
I've not played Skyrim in a while, and I forgot to add this mod to my order until I was already in the Winking Skeever. So I saved, added the mod, came back in, and I could buy the amulets and spells from him, (and they worked fine). However, the haircut option was not available. I tried waiting a few hours and still no go. I saved, exited the game, and the haircut dialogue then showed up and worked fine. I don't know what the cause was, as I've forgotten any idiosyncrasies related to this mod and/or Skyrim, but I figured I'd at least post about the glitch even if I'm feeling too lazy to properly document it.
works this also with vampire chars ? and by the way, do anyone know how to change the hair or the eyes for a vampire char and to keep all your stats and dont brake something ?
I've noticed a glitch where NPCs wearing a certain types of clothes suddenly have no bodies. I was wondering if this mod was the issue, since it's one of the only mods I have that edit clothes (the barber guy's pink robe).

Also, if you are looking at this file and you don't yet have

Thank you! Endorsed, Kudos etc.
And now for something completely different, have you given any thought to a certain little rabbit mod for Skyrim?
