I really like this mod, but I had a few issues while playing as a male Kapo'tun. I noticed the sneak sound played for non khajiit characters in my SE load order, so I uninstalled that part of the mod. If you find that the one-handed sounds, with swords and daggers, play too often, I've identified the two files that are directly responsible for that, for the "male" version. They are:
dialoguegeneric__000b8a05_1.fuz and dialoguegeneric__000176fd_1.fuz.
I believe the regular great sword swings also use those files.
I preferred removing dialoguegeneric__000b8a05_1.fuz. Only removing one of them allows the growls to play sometimes, but not with every single swing. I believe file dialoguegeneric__00013ebc_1.fuz is responsible for the heavy roar sounds on power attacks with two handed axes.
Lastly, note that this doesn't seem to work with PC head tracking out of the box. I use DBVO, and that is fine, but you have to choose Sound for Khajiit or PC Head Tracking for your combat and movement sounds.
Thank you very very much for this mod, since i tried it i cant really play without it. I use it since LE, now i play on AE n still use this version of mod. It work just perfectly. Same for optional file for Stealth. Thank you again.
This mod is so amazing! My khajiit males look like tigers and the females look like leopards and this fits them so incredibly well
For the people that want to use the sounds with unarmed combat, install One-Handed Fists. It is awesome for unarmed combat in general, but one of the things it adds, are “bare hands” swords. That way, you deal unarmed damage, but use the sounds
Honestly ive noticed tht Khajiit uses sounds with unarmed combat even without mod u mentioned. But u need to equip gloves (light or heavy). I hear sounds during unarmed with heavy gloves - allways, light - only in fights (not during fight with air).
I know this is an old post but just encase anyone else is wondering you can just download file manually and drop this file in your mod manager for Skyrim SE and it'll work. Most audio files will work with SE without changing anything.
