About the uninstall issue, I found some solutions. I need to mention before, I ported this mod to SSE by myself and deployed it to an exist save. I am not sure whether this cause any influence. First solution is easier, but cannot fix the problem from its root. The idea is if I use another mod which also affect beds, it may override the effect of "See you sleep". So I downloaded and installed "Go to bed" (www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/67763) (in my case it is the SSE version). With "Go to bed", I can use beds with no problem. BUT If you uninstall "Go to bed" later, the beds will become unusable again. So if you are looking for permanent solution, I believe tacopizza7's post back to 2013 could help.
The second solution followed the points posted by tacopizza7. The problem is in the uninstalling function of this mod. It ONLY affect the beds in the same cell when you press the uninstall button. So player has to do the whole uninstall process for EACH problematic bed manually. That definitely will be a hard work. After locating an unusable bed. one may want to follow these steps to fix it.
-Enable "See you sleep" from your mod manager and enter the game. -Stay in the same cell with the problematic bed(s). -Use the "Configure See you sleep" in you magic list. Press "Uninstall". -Try to sleep on a bed nearby. Then a message popup tells you the mod is uninstalled. -Save the game and disable the mod from your mod manager. Now the bed(s) in this cell is fixed. To fix other beds, one will need to do these again.
I had done a complete installation of the game and all the mods, eventually I remembered that I had installed this one, what I didn't remember was that I had removed it precisely because it was super buggy, thanks for your recommendation, this time I haven't had to start a new game like It happened to me last time. I still have some beds to solve but your solution works perfectly.
IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING USING THIS MOD - DO NOT AS IT WILL MESS UP YOUR GAME ENTIRELY IF YOU HAVE IT ALREADY DO NOT UNINSTALL !!
Please see DOZENS of comments in this thread relating to the ongoing and still unsolved issue with this mod which might work fine when it is installed BUT will leave you unable to sleep in any bed you have slept in before at any inn or breezehome or anywhere else PERMANENTLY
The mod creator has gone AWOL and this mod is irrevocably bugged, unless he turns up to provide a fix. If you uninstall this game you will not be able to use any bed again which you have slept in when using it in game... and there is no fix known yet.
This mod worked fine for me as far as the sleeping animation went, but the 'magic spell' to configure it did not, so I uninstalled it but that was after nearly 550 saves and it was one of the early mods i installed. Immediately thereafter I was unable to sleep my character in ANY of the inn beds or home bed I had ever used during this mod's usage time. I have tired most of the fixes listed here including using Save Game Script Cleaner and removing the See YouSleep alias and UpdateSeeYouSleep files but that did not work. This was a learning curve and risky to mess with script editing.
Because I am using the multiple followers mod where my followers demand rest and only sleep when I sleep t his has caused me huge problems and even to the extent I may have to delete them or just carry campfire beds in cities because I can no longer sleep at Inns.
There have been some very caustic comments made in this thread to the mod creator and this mod appears to have created stress and misery for many users. I only installed this mod less than 2 weeks ago and now see it finally has been removed from nexus after evidence of this problem since 2012. which means if you uninstall an existing copy you cannot get it back to perform the so-called 'safe' uninstallation (which doesn't cure this issue)
How I wish I had read this thread before installing ( and uninstalling ) this mod !! If you already have it DO NOT UNINSTALL IT !!
Appreciate your warning, seems like a scripting conflict to me, but still...550 saves in a fortnight? wow, that is more than I've thrown away since 11-11-11... lol
lol... this is true. I just reinstalled it. The only reason I even uninstalled it, a hard decision, was because I needed another plugin open for a mod I was going to install. no biggie... so now you all know ;)
This is one of my favorites. I always had a total loss of immersion with the vanilla sleep script. Please .... please port it to SSE. Thanks in advance.
Anyone try cleaning the mess after uninstall this mod? Bed now is unusable, especially when you use survival mods and sleep in every beds in game. I tried using uninstall option, and it only works on the last bed you sleep. Removing seeyousleep scripts not fix them. My guess is the mod don't track the bed you sleep, it create scripts, maybe overwrite vanilla scripts and then forget it. What am I supposed to do now?
Yes! Bed is unusable! And nothing to do to fix! Also I see how my dova waking up and laying down..and what? What else? Why I can't to see how I laying on the bed? =(
