Been asking myself why I have never seen this ENB config before. It's just.. it's amazing. One of the best in my opinion.

No matter what I do, I just keep coming back here. I love this enb. Love it! Not a fan of the new beta version but 2a is perfect, even the nights are perfect. The only odd looking effect is when the rain falls but that is a tiny spec of sand on this amazing enb.

    Hey
First of all, i wanted to say that this mod is amazing, judging the screen shots.
I really wanted to enjoy it, but whenever i play with it, i get really dark condition even at full brightness, during daytime and outdoors, example when i start a new game and you are in bounds on the prisoner caravan headed to helgen.
I have almost no visibility, and i can't understand why.
I first installed this mod, then i installed the ENB version from that site ( .113 ENB series or something like that) that you mentioned, i opened the .zip file and copied the d3d9.dll file inside WrapperVersion folder into steam/steammaps/common/skyrim folder, when TESV and skyrimlauncher is located.
Is there a reason why i see really dark ?

I know there are download and install instructions on the description page, but can anyone tell me how to install this mod? A video would be great.

    Anyway, looks awesome. Well done!

Finally it's done: the sucessor to Winterfell ENB (and Radiant Heart ENB) is released.

It's called Grim Gem ENB and is based on all the things I learned while making the former two ENBs. I hope you will enjoy it a little, it can be found here:

    Heyho Kazekage1,

thanks a heapload for the endorsement and even more so for the comment - breaking my monologue ;-).

To increase performance you can try the following things (without crippling quality too much):

    In Enbseries.ini:
Change "DetailedShadowQuality=-1" to "DetailedShadowQuality=1" (rather strong fps gain I guess)
Change "SamplingQuality=0" to "SamplingQuality=1" (minor fps impact)
Change "FilterQuality=0" to "FilterQuality=1" (minor fps impact)

    In Injector.ini:
Change "preset = SMAA_PRESET_ULTRA" to "preset = SMAA_PRESET_HIGH" (medium fps impact, hard to guess)

    In Sykrim Graphis launcher/ingame menu:
Lower view range for objects, persons and items to about 60 to 75%, - this can bring quite an fps gain and is only noticable in certain situation at all.

Some of these or even all of these changes combined should net you at least the 5-6 FPS you look for (probably a little more, but that again is hard to say).

    @youngneil1

I saw your Grim Gem ENB on youtube and liked it so much I came here. I've been using your Winderfell ENB for the past hour and am so impressed with it that I have already given my endorsement

I like how you've choose to enhance the vanilla feel rather than changing it like other ENB's do for the worse. This ENB has good performance also. I am getting 60fps indoors and 55-60fps outdoors (without SSAO).

Could you recommend ways of increasing my fps another 5-6? I don't want to disable the DOF or reduce resolution. I already have my settings set to Ultra but reduced shadows to medium and turned of AA since you have SMAA already integrated in this ENB.

    My specs are GTX 580 @ 890mhz with an i5-2500k @ 4.2ghz. Thank you!
