I don't typically go for generic companion mods as I tend to make my own to fill my own purposes, but I did feel the need to address, as a historian, what RaMazad said.
Throughout history, even in the middle ages, the most successful assassins have -always- been women.
Sure there were the guys who would fire a crossbow bolt or something from behind a wall, but they were usually just mercenaries more than assassins.
A true Assassin has to be able to get close enough to see that the job is well and truly done. People can survive all sorts of long range assaults, and a fanatic might get close enough to make sure the kill is made but then die themselves as the targets bodyguards kill him.
The true pro is the one that can get close enough, check to see that the target is well and truly dead. Throughout history, women have been for the most part not seen as threatening, and can more easily move about without being noticed ( as an assassin at least ). They can slit a throat or apply poison in a bedchamber and then walk away, usually without anyone even noticing.

Just a little piece of history, even to this day.
