The areas where you have cabbage, potatoes and leeks in the screenshots, are those pre-planted there, or are they normally empty planters? If yes to the empty planters, yay. Also, is the spriggan still there guarding the place?
Hi there, sorry for the late reply, it's been a while since I checked back. Unfortunately the garden beds are pre-planted, this was made before I ever got Hearthfire. The spriggan spawn point was removed though, I figured she wouldn't make a good roommate for new homeowners.
that depends if the player is a druid and a ally to the spriggan when i play as a druid it would make sense that the player is a ally of the spriggan and forest folk/wildlife animal friend mod but since you removed the spriggan spawn point sadly i can not use this mod but it's a good mod.
I'm not sure, to be honest. I haven't tried modding SSE or converting old mods, so if I do, it would likely be a ways in the future. However, if anyone more skilled than me wishes to do so themselves, they absolutely may!
It's really lovely, and I want to endorse, but my follower kept getting hung up on objects so I hope you'll navmesh this for followers (and include sandboxing points for them if possible?) in the future. Because I'd love to use this permanently for some of my characters, but they almost all have spouses/followers, so I'm sad.
Very lovely work, though. Please update & fine tune.
Hi there, glad you're interested in the house! It is fully navmeshed, but sadly it was done before the final CK update which fixed integrating navmesh changes into the greater Tamriel worldspace, and I have not yet found a way to fix the problem without starting from scratch. NPCs who load inside the house (after a long rest, say) have no trouble, but anyone coming in from outside has a chance to get all scrambled. It can certainly be irritating and I understand if it's a deal-breaker, but I do appreciate that you gave it a look!
It sounds like you're having a problem with the door bar script, which my mod has not caused. I'd recommend finding it in your original Skyrim .bsa files and replacing it, it's an often-used script!
Thanks for checking the mod out! Unfortunately I'm not sure about its compatibility with either Frostfall or Real Shelter as I use neither, but it's built using all-vanilla assets under a pre-existing structure, so if Real Shelter covers the vanilla Roadside Ruins, and if Frostfall can recognize a regular campfire, they'll work here too. I hope you end up giving it a try!
I'm endorsing because I absolutely love the concept and look of this player home and want to encourage you to keep developing it and ones similar to it. That being said, having it rain/snow in the living space really breaks immersion for me, so unfortunately I really can't use it as a home, which makes me very sad. As far as I'm concerned, the fault lies with Bethesda, not you, as there shouldn't be weather falling into a covered area in the first place.
I'm glad you enjoyed the mod itself, and yes, if I could stop rain and snow I would. There was a mod some time back which used a clever scripted workaround for dry covered spaces, I don't know how far it was developed but you might look for that if it will help change your mind.
And it's going to be getting some hefty updates later on, partly to deal with the issue of the weather changing spontaneously when you pass under an arch or overhang.
